ok im not having the best of luck with tc have used tanks i know reasonably well erl, kayfun, plume vale and because im stupid a kanger subtank started off getting a invader mini and it didnt seem to work v well but that was mostly with the subtank so because of the high lol 0.1 min res i left tc alone for a bit to mature step 2# got a seg 75 and yay i can get coils at a good res down to 0.05,havent had low res yet so far subtank is still pants in tc ,i turn up the watts and get a dry hit even when i dont turn it up some times erl at .14 was the same plume vale dry hits when drying out all of this is happening even with the temp setting under 330f and watts under 40 on subtank and 25 on erl so ive changed mods used diff attys that i do know had 2 mods the only thing i have not changed is my wire as i got a boat load 1st time round could it be this i got 0.2 soft and hard,0.3 hard and 0.4 soft and hard from stealth vape aka crazy wire a long time ago oh and it burns throw the cotton at 100F and i shyt my self the 1st time i tried it because i had it at 400f and the thing went up like a candle (bloody scary tbh) so were can i get some fresh wire from or am i missing something

I don't really see any advantage of TC over normal kanthal in a tank ... If your build is up to scratch and you are sober enough not to let the tank run dry, you should not get a dry hit. However, where it really does come into its own IMO is with a dripper ... A velocity with dual nickel coils at 0.06 ohm with the mod set at around 30 joules / 400F is a sweet vape for me. I can let it run dry without scorching the cotton and without a dry hit ... A tapering off of the vape let's me know that it is time to re-drip. With all my various tanks I stick with tried and tested kanthal builds.

I use Ni claptons in a sub tank mini and run it at 35watts no issues. I also got the ni from stealth.

I have no experience of the Sig 75 on any Sig TC, are you getting the same resistance reading on the mod as you are on a resistance checker with the badly behaving coils?

No problems at all with the sig 75 in TC. Ive been running my lemo 2 with a .16 coil at 35 watts and 450f and vaping the tank dry every time and no sign of a dry hit at all

Just had a quick blast through this review, great write-up of a great little mod, well pleased with mine, although my foray into TC is slim; something I will get into in time no doubt!
