Oooo that's a bit misleading that lanyard picture than Raggy as they're showing the end cap quite clearly. Surprised you can't get spares either, but! it's still a great deal and worth every penny. thanks perpetua, i emailed tecc yesterday ref the cap and it only comes with the full kit, no spares available, people have been trying to buy them since January. raggy...................

Thats pretty crap, actually Raggy, they sell spare switches, etc, and a cap is quite likely to get lost, especially if you don't put the wee attachment thingy on....
with all the talk of screwdrivers, i dug mine out and have been using it most of the day, and i wonder how i managed without a button cover while using it, i much prefer the Mako's locking button

Have to more than agree with you Lilac, they're pretty essential. Made the mistake of taking mine off as I found it a bit difficult to easily remove, shoved it in my pocket then some time later was a bit disconcerted to see smoke billowing from said pocket as I'd managed without the cap to 'switch on' whilst sitting down. All was ok, but I wouldn't recommend the experience. Still think it could be worthwhile mailing Trog direct Raggy www.cavecom.com/screwdriver/shop/shopindex.htmThere's a very helpful CS chap there - Matt I *think* his name is.

Ouch! (*Snigger* - sorry Lilac ) My neck lanyard solves any potential problem with the button for me - I can't think of circs where I'd want to put SD in a pocket or bag. scylla

Perpy, though the SD MK11 is based on a design by Trog, he didn't make it himself. It's a mass produced version of his SD MK1 & made in China (I think). So I'm not sure he will be able to help with anything like button covers.
Lilac, I know what you mean. I feel the same about my GG's - IMHO locking buttons are a must on a big battery e-cig.

Oops Scylla, sorry i missed your post there. Even though i don't go out & about a lot, there are times i just want to shove my GG in my handbag without worrying about it firing due to the button being triggered.

they only fit the mk1 i think, you give them a push and they stretch a bit gripping the sd body. raggy

Ouch Lilac with your burn Didn't get to that stage with my 'incident' but all of a sudden I was aware of a feeling of warmth and a fair bit of smoke billowing forth. You're much more disciplined than me Scylla, cos I regularly shove my SD in a pocket, although not without the end cap now, lesson learnt there - the lanyard sort of bumps around on my chest. That's a shame Raggy/Chris bout Trog supplies - just thought it might be worth a shot with them as sometimes suppliers have odds and ends lurking about. Still, seems as if you've found a solution Raggy Mint sauce, beetroot & balsamic vinegar

I shouldn't have posted that, sorry But to clarify, I add little balsamic to Colman's Garden Mint and a very little to flavour the natural beetroot you get in vacuum packs - I don't mix mint sauce and beetroot Don't use vinegar for anything else so it lasts donkeys. scylla
