Could not find any reviews of this on the forum, though it's mentioned a few times. I just received it and I think it's a great tank, so thought I'd post this video review as it also shows those less experienced how to wick the RBA deck. I've only tried the pre-coiled RBA in it (I generally don't do stock coils), and the vape is really good with (so far) a great top fill and no leaking whatsoever. Slight warning, though, the RBA reduces the tank capacity to around 4ml. The Clapton coils installed in the RBA, though great for flavour, do use up juice (and wattage!) quickly. I bought it for a carry around and will be experimenting with other builds that may be more economical. Also, its on sale here link , for about £13.50 inc delivery, they have the silver version too.

Looks quite a nice set up. Pity theres only an option for dual coils with the RBA tho? And finally just an observation, why bother with a child lock to fill when you can just unscrew the bottom.

Yes, I'm a big single coil fan too - though I've yet to find out if any of the other single Kanger Coil RBAs work in it. The dual RBA is suprisingly good though - in fact, I think its a bit of a design masterpiece, this method of getting the juice to flow from below the deck rather than at the sides seems to work incredibly well for me - it's a bit similar to the armomamiser system. The child lock is simply a thread which you unscrew before you can pull the top of the tank up to reveal the filling hole. If said child is incapable of unscrewing anything then there we go.... It is, though, quite handy, as it means you can pick up the tank from the top without also pulling up the fill hole section by accident. The child lock label is a gimmicky marketing ploy too far, methinks....

beedee the subtank mini rba base can be used in the protank 4, I've fitted them in my three and they work perfectly.

The reviewer can't remember how to inhale mouth to lung - he just simply can't, bless him. Question is, why would you want one of these if you have a subtank?

I know, bless... also, he's a bit....wooden. For me this is different to the subtank because it's not reliant on just O Rings to keep the juice in. There is not a sign, (yet - 3 tankfulls later) of even condensation leakage from the airflow, and the top fill is a plus (have not got the later top fill subtanks). But the biggest plus for me is the RBA, I think. Also, I like trying new tanks!

I bought these because they were retro engineered to accept the subtank rba and at the time they were about 11 pounds a pop delivered from the uk. They are a good solid tank that works well, very similar to the subtank in usage beedee

The news that they'll take subtank rba deck was enough to have me buy, I've got a few subtanks knocking about so I can borrow the rba's to use if I find the dual rba a bit too much faff? I was after something for everyday MTL and after watching video I'm liking its versatility. Up until now I had a pair of Silo's in reserve for high capacity juice and MTL facility (but the daughters taken a shine to them and nicked my pair!) I also like top fill, it saves my threads and you can get more juice in.... But most of all I like it being 510 driptip and I like the look of it not that I needed any more tanks......

Up until quite recently I used a Silo as my carry around, too, Pepperty . (Great minds think alike....). I switched to an ubertoot, it's 5ml, utterly leak free, got a full stainless steel tank, nice tight draw, and it's single coil, also a truly fantastic vape. Bit expensive, though. See here. I've been using the Protank all weekend and have taken it out and about, still not a hint of a leak and it's a doddle to refill. its worth wicking up the dual claptons allready in the RBA just for a try, the flavour is so good I've kept them in, I must confess I've also bought a black one ( its that old can't resist a bargain Shinyitus again....)

I'm chuffed to bits with my protank 4's. As you say beedee they just don't leak! The rba dual coil was a joy to wick and even though it's 0.3 ohms is vaping like a champ and a tankful is lasting a decent while. The top fill is easy as pie and I'm tickled by the twist, pull and roll inner ring system to fill. I had to stop myself ordering more, I do that every time and end up with a glut of tanks, mini serpent. .. subtank... atlantis.. nautilus. .. spheroid. I just go overboard when I find something I like!

I got my second midweek and put a 0.8ohm build in the RBA, it's a great MTL vape.I've got two on the go right now, the other with the claptons it came with. I think it's a bit of a design masterpiece, the sliding topfill is neat, and really leak free, I even like the way the airflow has a good solid stop on it so it does not spin when you unscrew the deck. I'm intending to take a both on holiday later in the year so am keeping all the stock coils as backup. all in all, a surprisingly good buy! 🙂

I've actually got a couple of newbie vapers using these lately and they love them. I even built the rba for the one lad and it worked fine. My mate picked up 2 for about £17 delivered a couple of weeks ago. I'll try find the link for use

I just go overboard when I find something I like! Well, far be it for me to place temptation in anyone's way Pep. But I've just popped a Black and Silver in my cart ( for research purposes ) and a discount appeared! What's this I thought. So added a single coil for my Plato to take me over the £20.00 threshold for free shipping, research can bugga off!

...I know Perpetua it's why I own so many now - far too irresistible at that price 1) The TPD is coming in, I wont see many plus 2ml tanks again 2) They vape just how I like and that's rare nowadays with the glut of sub ohm tanks on the market! 3) well made, good heavy substantial tank 4) outrageously cheap, even if I use a couple for spares I'm quids in 5) they just look good, top fill, protected glass, 6) and lastly, normal sized 510 driptip so my favourite beautiful acrylic tips slot on it lovely I don't know why there's such a good discount but I'm not complaining! I always liked the kanger subtanks because they ooze quality compared to so many other atomisers and these are made similar, you're getting a lot of metal for your money! I'm thoroughly enjoying sub ohm'ing on the supplied coils in the rba (which is a beauty, really great design, as beedee pointed out) and knowing I can mtl on them with stock coils or a using my old subtank rba (single coil) is very uplifting news as there's so few atomisers on the market that give a decent mtl draw. I'm considering overbuying again over bought just because of the capacity in these tanks, knowing that you can get 5ml in using a stock coil is superb as they don't look over large, and the fill port works a charm, I prefer top fill as you can get more juice in any tank and its less messy and kinder to my mod threads....
