It took me 2 years to find a set up that suited me in all situations. I think it would not suit everyone and many would not like the idea of their e-cigs being on show to all and sundry, but that doesn't bother me. So thanks Tomo for your suggestions, but on reflection, I guess I will just stick to what I have. Respect. May you long enjoy your preferred set up and may the market long supply your needs

Thanks domesticextremist The market has already "supplied my needs" for the next 10 years or so. Hopefully by the time I'm using my last coil, something else will have come along that will suit the next 10 or so years.

Tomo - Probably a very silly question - apologies Are you using the 0.7 coils in a Nautilus? I'm just curious as to how the Nautilus "reacts" with a sub-ohm coil bearing in mind it's fairly tight draw even on the biggest airflow hole. ghostrider1971 vaping on the it now and it works. I have it a 12w on the biggest hole and it's a great mtl vape. Produces more vapour/flavour than a normal nautilus coil even at a lower wattage than it can go and thus lasts a lot longer. The 0.7 coil was made for the nautilus 2 which is a mtl tank. I think sub ohm doesn't necessarily mean dtl ?

Hi Tomo I am interested in what you are saying about using the Nautilus at 12W. What MG are you using. I vape at 24MG on the 1.8ohm coil, so using the 0.7ohm coil, what MG would I need to make up?

lobeydosser wow 24mg, I thought my sister was high at 18mg I vape 6mg mtl but not sure what would be good for you. Because you get more vapour production I'm guessing you could lower your nic level. I think it would be best to try before you start buying coils or changing your nic levels. The offer still on mate if you pm me your details I will send you a new 0.7 coil and the 1.8 clapton for you to try

Hi Tomo I am away on holiday tomorrow and I will get in touch once I am back. My idea is that I write to the Forum and ask if there is a formula for working out what MG level I would drop down to if I reduced the coil size from 1.8ohm to 0.7ohm. I know it would be less, but I have no idea how much less. Once I know that, I would make up 30ml and give it a try on that. By the by, if you think that 24mg is high, our neighbour vapes at 40mg.

To the best of my knowledge there isn't Lobey as so much depends on your personal tolerances as ohms . . . . . what I'd suggest you do, is to mix up a small sample at 12mg then take it from there. You might find that not sufficient for your needs, or vice versa - but at least you'll have a starting point to work from. I subohm at 6mg, MTL at 12mg . . . . . but I'm finding just recently both those strengths are making me a bit ' heady ', so I'm planning on knocking them back a touch, the next mixes I make. That's from 24/18mg when I first started vaping, but it's taken several years for my system to decide it doesn't need quite so much nicotine! Enjoy your holiday.

Thanks Perpetua Yes I was thinking of trying a batch of 12mg and adjusting it from there. A 30ml batch would give me a decent amount and then add to it or water it down, depending on whether I get high or depressed!!! Really this will be just an experiment, because vaping at 12w will also radically upset my battery time and that is important to me. As for the "holiday". All I will be doing is chauffeuring the Misses around various parties and a wedding while I dog sit. On the up side, we have rented a lodge at Loch Tay for the week, so me and the dug will have peace, perfect peace!!!!!

My 0.7's arrived today.... Have popped one in my Nautilus on the Lavabox - started at 12w and the vapour and flavour are good - popped it up to 14.5w and the flavour and vapour are just surreal for a Nautilus Tomo - Thank you for the rec - I'm a convert

You've tempted me to consider trying the 0.7 ohm coils. I've got three full sized nautilus sat unused and have recently picked up the nautilus billet bridge so I'd love to see how they work in my Billet box

Sorry to bump but my question is on topic.... Ive ordered a new mvp 4 and for now want to keep my nautilus mini on it but i find the coils are crap, so having read that i can use the triton coils im just wondering if i can use the .5 claptons as i use it mtl? Ive read theyre a good option for the nautilus.
