VapingBad, I like the idea of the sponsor covering our backs, but I can't see that happening(the defeatist in me), however I have more time for this meet and will have a chin wag and see what is possible. How about them sorting out some sarnies and Vol-au-vents?????? Turn it into a chimps tea party. I wouldn't really look at going further than The City eastward, Marble Arch westward, Dustin Road northwards, South Bank-ish southwards. I think we always need to be near a station and would be nice to have something on the ground floor. I will try to get myself a laptop, as this will make updating threads and bumping them easier. Also doing Twatter and Facebook, trying to do it on my mobile is impossible( I can't even post on potv without the browser crashing).

Hi all, Please select dates you are available, the most popular will be selected. We already have some great ideas on how to boost numbers. Any other ideas would be great to hear, pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey, blind mans bluff, musical chairs, strip poker,,,,,,,,who knows????? Also any input on venue. I got away with getting my £50 back this time, but don't fancy risking it on every meet and don't like the idea of charging for entrance or raffle tickets. If everyone is behind the motion I'll start looking for a venue that doesn't have a minimum bar spend. We may have to move away from Oxford Circus, but I know we can get a free room one or two tube stops away- anywhere that doesn't have a busy Saturday nightlife. Any ideas would be appreciated, but remember it needs to be convenient for everyone not just yourself, and that includes people from Surrey, Essex, Kent, Herts, Bucks, etc.(that sounds impossible)

Forgot to say, jessica the flyers in the shops is a great idea, but can you imagine the impact with dagl, VapingBad, ronaldo(I'm sure we can tempt him down)and myself handing out flyers in Leicester Square in bespoke silicone pants.

I forgot to thank everyone who gave away their surplus stuff at the meet. It was a beautiful thing to see people giving screwdrivers, mods, wire, wick, etc. etc. rather than sell them. It's a great way of trying stuff and if you don't like it pass it on. jessica I've got your Vamo working, if you don't want it back how about giving it out to someone at the Oct/Nov meet?(it's a cracking starter mod) A great idea promoting the meets jessica , I haven't a clue how Facebook and Twatter work. I opened up a Facebook account to take over the admin of our page, but as a rule I don't do "social media", so I am probably the least suitable person to promote it via facebook etc. I also have the problem of not having access to a proper computer regularly, meaning I can't edit and update posts regularly on all the forums. Also I am packing in vaping, so it will be mad if I organise vape meets while not vaping-put that down to my "thank you" to vaping. As I said I'll put up a thread/poll for the next meet where everyone can have there say. It's your meet please speak up.

Yep, well done seniorphil and Mrs Bad is very impress with the bowl I knew she would like it as soon as I saw it. Thank you John, remember that was a prototype, so when I start knocking out the bigger ones I'll post some pictures and Mrs Bad can take her pick.

Oh dear! I am still recovering. I didn't get home until 4:30am and got called into work and started a 14 hour shift at 08:30 fuelled on espresso. Thanks to everyone who showed up and are sponsors and Bob for the raffle prizes. Also cheers to philmepowers for confusing the bar staff and enabling me to get my deposit back. A good night was had by all, and it was great to see some new faces and some old too, but it was the worst turn out since I started coming to the meets. I'll start a thread up for discussion on future meets, to discuss how often, location etc. With 19 people attending most places wouldn't let us book a room, which means we'll be in a normal bar area. On a minimum bar spend, we would of struggled to get halfway on Saturday.

If it was bought from a UK vendor it doesn't matter how long innokins warranty is. You're still covered under the sale of goods act 1979. It states that it should last a reasonable amount of time. The vtr is a fairly high end product so 4 months isn't a reasonable amount of time. 4 months would be reasonable for a £7.95 ego. You are entitled to a repair or replacement.

Another +1 for the MVP. Mine is over a year old and the battery life is only just started to shorten. It's been used daily for work, charged my phone on a daily basis. Cracking value for money.

Hi and welcome bonnieboy, Check out the "vapefest and other meets" section of AAEC to see if you have a regular local meet up. They are great opportunity to view and a whole array of the good, the bad, and the ugly kit available. Can save you a fortune by stopping you making the wrong decision. Don't rush into upgrading your kit, their is so many different ways you can go from where you are at the moment. Hang around on here and don't be afraid to ask questions, you'll be guaranteed a helpful response. Keep up the good work!

Yes please seniorphilHow much are they? Sent from me from some far away land. To you.......and anyone else who wants them free. Each contains 6 unprotected 18650s, Samsung's and Panasonics the odd Sony. The safest way to transport them is as a laptop battery with its safety circuit. Their seams to be a 70-80% rate of fully working cells. So you may as well take more than you need, I really don't mind as Hackspaces insurance company has invalidated there policy. So it looks like 10,000+ working 18650s will be heading back to China to be recycled into....18650s. Better the vaping community gets to use them first. There's loads of YouTube vids on how to break them down, but I will do it for people if they don't feel confident.

I forgot to mention, I still have access to a virtually limitless supply of laptop batteries. If anyone wants any just let me know, I just need permission from Phoenixflame (Julie) to carry them in her car- I'll buy her a pint of special brew on Saturday at the London meet.

Does anyone coming want a Kick? That's the mind for a mechanical mod, not the physical reprimand kind. It's brand new, only been tested. Fasttech 12w max clone. Free to a loving home. Haven't used a kick before, but do mostly use mechs, so be interested to try one out. Can have a go on Sat to see if it suits?? If not I can always pass it on to another. It's all yours Leo, remind me on Sat as I'll have a hundred things on my mind.
