ok try this -

variable voltage = the heater in you car. turn it up and down depending on the weather

variable wattage = Climate Control in your car. set it to required temp and it doesn't matter what the weather is your car will give you a constant temperature

So..... I guess you put this on a battery terminal, which is why you need a smaller battery than the one you're using?
I'm still waiting on the du bocage to arrive from Portugal (been 9 days now) and got 4. 18650 batteries ready and waiting for it. Does this mean that to use one of these wojamacalits I have to buy 18500 batteries?
