if you smoked 20-25 real cigs, then a ciggie lookalike isn't going to cut it for you as you would have to be recharging the batteries every couple of hours. The SD key ring, will last a tad longer between recharges but no where near as long as a Riva 1100.

If you go for the Riva kit, you will get 5 cartomisers with it as well as the Vision ego & you will also get a drip tip included in the kit.

Despite the advice re: the 30ml bottle of Silky, I'd rather have too much and not run out than be caught short. I figure approx 3ml a day only gives me 10 days supply (not including my samplers of "evening exotics"). I do thank you for the warning all the same though (I'll probably regret ignoring it). :-[

Hi Firin,looks like a well made list and I know your going to be happy,one thing to mention is that when you get the Boge cartos you will need to fill them,so make sure you have read up about using the condom method,there is a tutorial in this beginners section,

Welcome firin - looks like you've got a comprehensive order in there that you should find great. You did say that you would like to be able to drip so you can check out flavours without filling a carto, so all you have got missing is an atomiser to use for that. Any 510 one would be fine for that, or the Bauway 306 is highly rated - that will also fit on a 510 battery, but you would have to get a different type of drip tip to go with that (a 306 one).

Woohooo! It all arrived today and the Riva batteries were also pre-charged! I'm already in love with the Grizwalds Apple tabac and thankfully the 30ml bottle of Silky that I also got (although despite common sense I topped up one of the running out pre-filled cartos with it so I actually probably haven't got a "true" taste of it yet).

I think I've got enough cartos that actually I won't bother with direct dripping (besides I want to be able to prefill cartos for the week and not have to carry juice around with me). Also I'm guessing it tastes different direct dripping anyway so probably won't give me a true idea of what I'm going to get.

Over all I'm really happy with what I've got

Also I've found that the cartos that I have from the 10 motives fit perfectly with the SD Keyring and (almost) as well with the Riva, so I'm guessing I can confirm that the 10motives are very nearly 510 fit (always good to know if you run out of cartos and pop in and get prefilled ones from Tesco & Sainsbury in a fix).

They're £5.99 for 5 pre-filled cartomisers so actually not that far off the price for empty ones online. Worth knowing about.

I know a fair few members tried the 10 Motives disposables, but don't think many went on to try their rechargeable version, so yes an extra thumbs up to you for letting folks know they have a 510 fitting #icon_thumbsup#

I can now add that the Freedom e-cigarette is also a 510 fitting too (after letting a friend borrow one of my batteries).

Also a general enquiry, I've found that the Grizwalds caramel cappacino tastes more like buttery burnt toast (well that's the closest I could describe it). Is this because I've not filled the carto properly? I used the condom method but I can only think I missed a bit and it's burnt the filling. If so do I throw the carto away or can I wash and try again?

3) We think the way of filling e-liquid into the cartos is crucial for their performance. For prefilled cartos, we use an injector to fill e-liquid deep inside the cartos twice. Each time the e-liquid is distributed evenly in three different places. In this case we can make sure that the heating coil is fully infiltrated before the users inhale. This is why our prefilled cartos perform so well so far. For blank ones, we are not able to control the users' way of filling. An user can get the burnt taste easily if the heating coil is not fully infiltrated. Please fill in the e-liquid correctly to ensure that all units work well.

I have used cartos,I prefer clearos,however each has its own pluses and minuses,I have used six flavours from Grizwalds,there quite thick, juicy lovely flavours but I would say maybe some of them would need a good standing time to soak properly into a carto,on the clearo side of things,I found with one flavour,toffee popcorn a clearo would nick all of the best bits from the juice and leave you a sediment at the bottom that could taste horrible,it only caught me out once,after I only filled once and threw the last bit away,then washed the clearo before refilling,well worth loosing that bit to actually have a juice so good I might as well have sat with a bag of popcorn on my lap,theres a learning curve and Iam still on it,but its fun,dont let one burned cart put you off,try filling and leaving to stand a few hours or even overnight on the first fill with some juices
