No I think it's that silver tube thing. The gripper thread is at the bottom, so the tube presumably shifts it to the top

See the hole on the right hand bit? The carto goes in there, but right in, so only the very top sticks out. So the thread to screw it into is at the bottom of that hole. So to use a tank, you'd need something that screws in down there but has a thread on the top as well

Ok, I wouldn't be using a tank on it but did wonder how easy it would be to screw an adapter with a carto in there i.e. if the carto came away from the adapter how would you get the adapter out?

Still tempted tho, great pocket stealth device

using the adapter or 510-510 extender the vision ego fits nice and works great on this

To use a normal length carto, does the adapter go at the bottom?

You could probably use two 510-510 regular adapters which will give you about a 10mm extension and use a normal size carto..

there is loads in stock not sure why you seen none but i just checked and it shows loads might be a interweb glitch
