A question though Cam, what mechanism will be in place to ensure somebody can't just look at the list and say that they are that person and claim a unit? How and when are we to make ourselves known to you to secure our pre-order? Hi Blakey, I will have a master list but in addition to that I suggest you add me as a friend on ECF with your name as it appears on the E-Cigz shopping cart. Thanks

My biggest problem (well far from a problem really), is that my GG Stealth, early version GGTS & even older GG Grant, all still work perfectly, so don't need anything else

probably none of us 'need' any extra GG's but they are too tempting to resist

I removed the spring in mine colli, reason being the kick has a cut out built in. I have the fused center post but it means that the telescope has to be extended more to use it so I didn't bother fitting it. Might just change my mind if your spring collapsed before the kick cut the power

Bel Dont worry all is well i think the atty shorted the button got too hot as the spring collapsed but even though it had collapsed it was syill making contact hence it was hot i unscrewed tele and disconnected every thing. I have as said previously cleaned and rechecked everything put in a tempory spring and all is working fine it was definatley the atty

i removed the spring in mine thinking the kick would ensure safety ....may invest in the fuse spring set up I dd some experiments gordy, I wired up a 1.2ohm coil in a nova and deliberately shorted out the connections and screwed it on to the provari to make sure the connection was live. E1 was in the display, I pressed again and got e4 so good enough for me- I put the nova on the GGTS with the kick and pressed the button, Bottom tube got a little warm otherwise nothing at all happened, so I screwed it onto the don which also has a kick in it and same thing. next I tried an old 510 attie that was ready for the bin, put it on the provari and it was working fine, put it on the ggts and used a small screwdriver to short out the coil to the side wall of the attie mid vape. The bottom tube on the GGTS started to get hot and then power cut out. I have no spring in there to collapse so it was a pure connection, the attie survived so I did the same thing on the don and the same thing happened but this time the attie never survived and when I removed the switch in the don the spring had deformed a little and the little plastic grommet showed signs of melting on its edges but was perfectly functional. I concluded that the safety on the kick does work but it doesn't cut power straight away and it does cut power well before any real damage can be done. Both kicks are working fine and the batteries I used were the Moju IMRs and they are also fine.

That's WAD (working as designed), Blakey, to my knowledge - it's not an immediate cutout. FWIW, there are no springs in any of my Kicked GGTSes - no need for 'em.

Strange thing is my 510 atty i thought had gone to vaping heaven is still working tested on the lavatube i really cant fathom this one out using the eye glass it looks ok so thought i would try it should i risk a quick test on the gg with the thinner spring do you reckon at least the thinner spring would collapse quicker will post results soon
Definately the atty gone tits up re-assembled with the old one it was dead new one and all is well
