Riva Feedback

As everyone knows, the Riva is a much recommended starter kit on the forum and is a great starting point for people new to e-cigs and vaping.

But, it is getting a bit outdated with it's atomiser/cartridge combination and the fact is that around 60% of buyers ask for them to be swapped anyway (for cartomisers).

So, we've been having a think and trying to come up with a new kit at the same price, but more suitable and easy to use.

So, here is what we have



Zipped Case (instead of useless cardboard box)
2 x Riva 1100mah Batteries
1 x Riva Cone
5 x Standard Resistance Cartomisers
1 x Standard Resistance Vision Ego
1 x 510 Drip Tip
1 x USB Cable

It will still be available in various colours, but we won't be able to adjust the contents because they will all be pre-prepared and ready for easy dispatch.

Any comments welcome (not you Blakey)

I would personally change the Carto/Vision ratio to 2 x Visions and only 1 or 2 cartos. Plus I'd add 10ml of juice.

Des - I can do that, but it changes the price point, which is what we were trying to keep (the VAT man is the only beneficiary from these kits - we rely on the repeat custom for our income).

Also, I do 10ml with the VE Vision Kit and 70% of buyers don't state their choice (as requested in bold on the site), so I then have to put a random 10ml in, which then leads to an email saying they don't like the flavour I chose for them etc...

What price point are you looking at Jason?

I suspected that you'd be doing them more or less at cost and relying on the repeat sales of juice.

Same price as they are at the moment Des, no change.

It will actually cost us more than the 'original' kits but, it takes up a lot of time swapping out atty's for carto's etc, so we thought it would be better to just re-package the lot once the next delivery arrives (which is why I'm looking at it now, because we're nearly out of stock and it's an ideal time to swap over).

I think that looks great Jason. Maybe even get rid of the cartos altogether. I haven't used mine at all. Find the vision thingies much better. If you got rid of them altogether could you then do 2 visions. Btw am very impressed with your service. Got my last lot yesterday but not sure what the freebie was #attachment# was clear and small. Love getting my parcels from you

Actually, that's a very good point...........could slip a mains charger in maybe, although I suppose that would up the price..........

I think it's perfect Jason. I know a lot of people like the stardusts, I don't, I much prefer cartos. it's good to have the choice of both in the kit.

Dave did a poll a few months ago as to what people preffered as newbies, Stardust came first but cartos were a very close second. So I think the contents are spot on and would have no hesitation in recommending this kit to newbies

Got to disagree with Des Jason as you know I didn't get on with visions And I know others don'teither , most newbies will try them so think its a good idea to include them but there should also be carto option . I like case too perfect I would say

Yes, we could do 2 Visions instead of the carto's, just not sure if they will be everyones cup of tea.

2 x SR Cartos - either Boge or Kanger
1 x Cone
1 x Drip tip

Then optional additions:

Mains USB charger
10ml Juice
Extra Cone - giving 2 complete Ecigs if cartos are used.

Poor little atties get such a rough deal lately,am i the only person to still love them i wonder.I really do think people miss out when they go straight to carto's as i find they mute the flavour and change the draw so much.Just my opinion of course but it will be a great pity when the little,beautiful and satisfying atties are no more.
