Hi, I have just ordered a Milano ecig online and expect delivery tomorrow. It comes with 3 refils that are apparently the equivelant of 20 fags. I must say i am scepticle but have read a lot about this online and thought i would give it a try. Unfortunately the refils seem to be sold out on a lot of sites. I have been reading about the liquid online on this site and wonder if you can use it on any type of ecig. Havent seen anyone with one of these ecigs yet in a pub or anything but if it works and saves a stand out in the cold it will be worth it. Any insight would be appreciated

lol just my luck i went on a website that was a click through from Martin Lewis' website (always find this site useful for everything) . It was the top pick. Didnt think that would be the case on the 20 fags front. The cartridges are about the same price as a pack of fags for 3. So looks like it will work out as expensive but the bonus would be if i actually replace fags on the health side and standing in the rain senario

Rain, I've been vaping for over 2 years & I'm admin for this forum (ie it was me that set up the forum ) I started with a super-mini (RN4081) e-cig. great little e-cig but doesn't give the best throat hit or vapour. I then started to use a mini DSE901 & loved it. however, I now use one of what is called a big battery mod - a GGTS : -

You are welcome & I hope you don't mind me shortening your name to Rain If the cartridges for the Milano are the same price as a pack of cigs, that is a total rip off!

took your advice and ordered the mini kit. unfortunately i couldnt cancel the other order but i suppose i can always send it back within 14 days. Then again my partner is a smoker and unlike me is always harping on about giving up but never does so perhaps we can have one each. Like the idea that the kit you suggested has different filters to try. thanks for the advice and let you know how i get on

Rain, I've been googling & found a few posts on other forums saying the Milano is overpriced rubbish. So if I was you I would send it back. If you paid with Paypal, make sure you send it back recorded.
Don't forget to get your self some e-liquid, that also comes in lots of different strengths & flavours & works out even cheaper than buying replacement cartridges.

Hello & welcome from me Rain, I'd second every bit of Chris's advice. Getting the right ecig is so important to giving up smoking, this board has some superb, friendly advice. Look forward to hearing how you get on.

yeah that's what i thought. The one you pointed out can be refilled and i have checked out the bottles and they are only £3 which seems like a good deal. I will wait to see how i get on with what you get in the box before i order any though. My problem is I dont really want to give up as i enjoy smoking. Especially with a drink. But it is all becoming too much of a pain. I can't smoke at work, cant smoke in the pub, i have a young child so i dont smoke at home or in the car so it's like why bother. If these are anygood and dont smell like they claim I will be soooooooo looking forward to having a toke while watching tv in bed. It will be bliss as i haven't done that for years ha ha also no fear of falling asleep and burning the house down

Having been a heavy smoker for 36years 40/50 a day I turned to ecigs 5months ago and haven't had a cigarette since Rain.
It's like being liberated, I can actually sit in my lounge, watch a TV programme through from start to finish without going outside for a ciggy and peering in at the TV through the patio doors ~ bliss.
I never wanted to give up smoking either which is why ecigs are so brilliant all the pleasure, without the pain!

Rain, they hardly have any smell at all & the little their is very quickly vanishes. I've vaped in a friends car that can't tolerate cigarette smoke. She said that was the first time she had ever smelt anything from my e-cig & all she could smell was a very slight wiff of caramel. Her car is tiny & it was a cold day & we had the windows shut.
