Yes she is a 10month old doodle and she had just been to the groomers when that pic was taken but after all the wet weather she is rather straggly and needing a good brush at the moment. We did think of training her up as a part-time sales assistant but she has no grasp of arithmetic for the liquids She is excellent at jumping up at the counter and knocking things over though. She then tends to wander off and lie down for a sleep. Its a hard life !! And the pink stick is mine. The only reason it was out of my hand was to take the picture.

I had a doodle for a short time, I got him as a rescue dog. Working it out at the time that he was at the youngest 17yo. The pore thing was in a right state, the hair was so matted that he had ulcers under the knots, had build up on his teeth so bad that he could not chew properly, had arthritus in his lower back and hind legs, infection in his scent glands, cateracts in both eyes, was partialy deaf, had a heart condition where one (or more) of the heart valves whistled, had a liver condition, and fluid on the lungs. He was so under fed that once you got through the hair you could put your finger inbetween each of his ribs as he was that skinny. The next day I took him to the vets, and had to do a lot of explaining of how he was in that condition as they thought I had done that. the best part of 2hrs in with the vet and a huge bag full of medswe came out, and went straight to the grooming parlour, where they basically shaved him. Now I would say that it offered him reliefe, but I had just moved him from the south of england to Dumbatron in Scotland. The poor thing was frozen. Got him home and started to look after him. The vet had given him a max of 3 months so I had booked an appointment in to the vets for 3 months saying that they would see a difference. He was fed on a diet of roast chicken in rice and grevy, he loved it (was not too keen on the pasta). As you know they are big dogs, and in the 3 months he put on nearly 3 stone in weight. The vet was amazed and had to call in the other vet to make sure it was the same dog who had been seen in the first place. I gave him the best life he could of had, with runs on the beach, and constant care. He passed away 18months after I first got him, he had a heartatack in his sleep. I know he dies happy knowing that he was loved.

Hi again ev, #welcome2# to the forum. I haven't tried my new juices yet..... I've been told to leave them to steep for at least 3 days.... .... it's hard... as I can hear them calling to me from the cupboard.... counting the minutes down to get stuck in to them. Kirsty & Karma... Mr GJ has suggested that if you want to make your way through to the outskirts of Edinburgh we could meet up and he'll drive us into Ev's shop. Whether you come by bus or car to where ever your comfortable driving to......( we'd need to make sure your car is parked up safe) just something for you both to think about if you fancy a mini vapefest Then obviously he'd take you back to the bus or car when we're vaped out We can't do it this weekend though as we're going to the Scottish Game Fare at Scone.

It sounds like that dog had a lot of love from you Batty. I am sure those 18 months were the best in his life.
