When it is time for all the customers to go home, sometimes staff get a little carried away with their cleaning duties : link

It has been quite a while since I have visited. Doesn't time fly. Our little shop has now expanded to 3 and soon to be 4. All of my sons and even my daughter help out now and we have made lots of new vaping friends along the way. Some have even become staff and help us greatly to promote vaping to the masses in Edinburgh, Falkirk and Glasgow. As each shop has come online we have learned to better organise our shops and mixing areas, each time learning more and more. And it is interesting how each location has its' own unique characteristics and customers. No matter which shop though, customers love to talk to each other and pass on their own vaping experience to those trying it for the first time. Sometimes though, it can be a little bit of a hindrance when you have a veteran customer waving their VAMO about and declaring it is the best device. The poor customer who has never seen an electronic cigarette before or only tried one that looks like a regular cigarette can be quite bamboozled !! Vapefest this year was a first for us taking our own liquids to the masses. It is one thing to have your regular customers enjoy them, but having vapers from all over the country try them out was a great experience, particularly as we had such fantastic feedback. We had such best laid plans to have our website available for these new customers just after Vapefest but unfortunately it has taken a bit longer than anticipated. Now we are gradually introducing our products online it is amazing to see people from all over the UK, and even beyond, wanting to try our flavours. We have been so lucky with staff, we have a great team of people who love their work and love everything about vaping. They also enjoy developing new flavours and to get feedback from customers. There is nothing more pleasing to have one of your own flavours listed on the menu and have people ask for it. With one of our new staff on board, we have also begun to explore our creative side by producing charms for electronic cigarettes. What should be our mail room has been taken over by a myriad of beads and chains but the finished products are very pretty. I just have to convince my eldest son that he really really does not need that room whilst the shopfitting is taking place upstairs ! Our next project is leather wraps and sheaths but getting time to experiment and make them is the ever present issue. So feel free to pop in to one of our shops and enjoy some time trying out our liquids. The guys are very friendly and if you pop in this week you can see them all dressed up for Halloween. If you are brave enough to visit us dressed up yourself, you will receive a free 20ml of liquid of your choice and have the opportunity to enter our fancy dress competition with a full VAMO kit as the prize. Or why not pop onto our facebook page and see some of the pictures of the staff dressed up !

Yeah I do not understand why they get away with telling people such lies. Customers who started on them tell me its more like 3 or 4 fags worth.
I never remember the configuration for each of these lookie likie e-cigs but you can refill all of them.
Depending on where you live, I am sure there must be somebody close by who can help you out with refilling.

The pictures are amazing. They are so well done. I imagine the people involved were pleased with the results too.

I have been trying out a new tobacco flavour and think the final tweeks have been working out well, judging by the customers who chose to purchase full bottle sizes rather than take a free sample bottle.
If any of the scottish vapers are out and about near Falkirk today there are still a few free sample bottles available for you to try.
The tobacco is called Noir and is a strong cigarette-tasting flavour.
So if any of you enjoy that "ashtray" vape, why not visit us and give it a try.

Have you tried the short puff long puff technique ?
Take one short puff to get the atty/clearo going, puff out the vapour then take a long inhale.
One of my sons was a sip smoker. You know the type that hardly put the ciggie in their mouth, quick sip then exhale. He did the same with his e-cig until his older brother showed him how to actually use it.

The day starts off with chatting to suppliers on skype while trying to get dressed then getting my son and the pup into the car to drop them off at the shop. Grab some forgotten supplies and weave through the morning traffic and roadworks the 30 miles to Falkirk to Market. Arriving 10 minutes late there is a new customer who kindly takes down the tarp to let me serve him. With a few quiet minutes I fill up an atty with a new tobacco liquid I am trying and let the customers try it out throughout the day to see what needs tweeked.
Its a bit of a blur from then on between serving and trying to replenish bottle stock. At 2pm I contemplate eating or making up some liquids to fill the gaps and decide sod it I will eat.
Afternoon continues in same vein with a visit from a regular who thinks the seat BEHIND the counter is for her and gives a running commentary to all the other customers in front of the counter while I make up some liquids for one of them. Finally around 3.45 just 15 minutes before closing time I quickly put together another flavour I have been planning and hope to have a try of it tomorrow and see how it has developed.
I then drop off one of the market workers at his partner's shop, who was previously a trader at the market, and natter to her and her family for half an hour. Head back through the rush hour traffic to the shop just in time to help son close up at 6pm.
Head home stopping off at a rather nice shop which sells home-made style freezer food and finally get home around 7pm.
Catch up with e-mails and forums and time to relax
Oh and vaping, well its a bit of a grab it when I can on Market days. Testing out a VV device which lots of people wanted to steal from me and vaping my own concoction which has a cupcake base with a variety of fruits added. Although somebody tried it today and said it tasted of cucumber.......................people and their taste buds eh !!

Stanton, I personally sell my liquids at one price for each bottle size, irrespective of nic strength and flavourings. Some flavourings cost me a lot more than others and some liquids have up to 8 flavourings to achieve the right taste. I just suck up the extra cost because its much simpler for the customers to know that they will be paying the same amount. I have never had a customer complain about paying the same for a 0mg nic content liquid but again they have probably been working down to that over a number of months and just want consistency of taste throughout. We are currently working with a website developer who although slow, has come up with lots of ideas for custom mix pages. I don't know if we will launch with this but it all sounds exciting. Good luck with your website I am sure you will get there

I have posted before about my shop but again its a bit far from you, I am based in Edinburgh where the shop is but also sell from Falkirk indoor market 4 days per week too.
All the info is on Facebook (Emporium Vapour) along with pictures of the shop and the market.
The market is certainly not as comfortable with only one chair out front and no refreshments, although that doesn't stop some regular customers coming behind the counter and sitting down for a half hour or more for a natter with me and the other customers.
The shop is nicer and we ran out of clean coffee cups today. Comfy sofa, free coffee and peeps just tend to linger !

I agree that flavour concentrates are probably the most expensive component with e-liquids. Consider that most flavours are blends of two or more flavour concentrates, I have one flavour where there is eight or nine, and the cost soon mounts up.
