help needed. have kiled both of my riva batteries

Hi everyone. Am having a panic. Think I overfilled my carts and as a result both of my riva batteries are not working. Have been using clears but as I haveto travel for work tomorrow thought I'd refill the carts. Now in panic. Any advice greatly appreciated

When you say killed, what do you mean? Are neither of them working at all when you press the button? What happens if you try to charge them?

Smokescreen it sounds like one of your cartos has pushed the battery centre pin too far down.... see this video

Also give the connections of the battery, charger and cartos a good clean. I use a cotton bud and for a special clean alcohol swabs

Triple ick or 5click the button to make sure you havent turned the off...

If the cartos are flooded you can gently blow out some of the excess juice, hold some tissue onto the connector end

I had pushed the battery pin down too far. All working again and I can sleep easy now #icon_thumbsup#

I didn't explain that very well did I Sorry Oneday #icon_sorry#

I meant if folks could start threads in the Forum help & feedback board about any suggestions/ideas about sticky threads, new boards etc. Main reason being that it has got to the stage that I can no longer read every post on the forum. But i will usually spot any new posts in the Forum help board straight away - well apart from today as RL & other forum issues got in the way
