Just wanted to say thank you guy's for all the advice, the postman has been and I'm enjoying some awesome flavour now, I took pot luck with which atomizer I would use first (bridged or bridge less) I just stuck one on the provari pulled the top off and it was the bridged one, I was worrying about when I would know it needs more drips adding but it didn't take long for me to notice a slight change in flavour and realizing it needs topping up. Now a couple of questions....what is the difference between the bridged and non bridged, why would you buy one over the other. and also, what is the way to leave it at the end of the day, with my cartomizers I always topped them up last thing at night never left them dry...is it best to leave atomizers with a few drops of juice in or will that juice dry and clog up the atomizer, or am I being completely daft and it doesn't really matter. ooh and another question , I'm putting four drops in, how many can you drop in before flooding it.

what is the difference between the bridged and non bridged, why would you buy one over the other. No idea - personally, I've noticed no difference between the two types (although I only tried 1 bridgeless, then went back to using bridged). what is the way to leave it at the end of the day, with my cartomizers I always topped them up last thing at night never left them dry...is it best to leave atomizers with a few drops of juice in or will that juice dry and clog up the atomizer, or am I being completely daft and it doesn't really matter. In my experience, it doesn't matter. I pay no attention to how full or empty it is when I leave it before going to bed at night. I just add 2 drips in the morning and that starts it off fine. ooh and another question , I'm putting four drops in, how many can you drop in before flooding it. Difficult to say exactly. As a general rule, when cracking open a brand new 306, I add about 6 drops and vape straight away (although I inhale tentatively at first, because if I haven't got it wet enough, I don't want a lungful of that burnt taste). Once it's going, I top up with 2 drops every so often. I can't say exactly how often. You just get a feel for it after a while. I guess everyone settles into their own routine based on what works for them. As you say, you do get used to how it changes as you vape, and when it needs a topup. Also, of course, it can vary from juice to juice. And each 306 can behave a little differently. (Occasionally I've had one that is just troublesome and it's either too dry and burning, or too wet and flooded, with no middle ground.)

Hi AC the main difference is the mesh 'bridge' originally put there to wick the juice from the cart to the coil ....it can act as a juice 'reservoir' for when you are direct dripping so you can drip an extra drop or two ....personally i prefer bridgeless as i find dropping juice directly on the coil just makes better sense. it does mean you may have to drip slightly more often but the advantage is you can get them cleaner and the juice doesnt hang around as much if you want to change flavours... each to their own tho i usually leave mine mostly dryish ...not totally dry tho as you dont really want to get the 306 completely dry 4 or 5 drops sounds about normal

You will soon notice when it wants more juice, it hisses at you lol and again, you will soon know if its best for three/ four and yes sometimes five drops if it gurgles and you get no vape, the drops vary so much depending on the bottles.

the drops vary so much depending on the bottles. Very true. I didn't realise this initially, until I started using juice from those thin 20ml bottles with the needle-point dripper (eg, like the ones from Vapour Juice UK). I now know to drip more drops when using those, but it did throw me at first and I kept getting dry hits.

I burnt out a lot of cartos in my first week of vaping as I was refilling with 6 drops from a 5ml bottle of juice with needle tip....bit of a difference between that and a 30ml bottle with a regular dropper

The only thing I'm having trouble with now is I'll be going great guns, no over filling (or so I think) still vaping fine without it being gurgley and every so often it decides to dump a load of juice out the bottom (thank goodness for the decent well on the provari) I'll have to get a decent drip guard I think, I'll will certainly be investing more money on this dripping malarky as I'm loving it, especially for swapping about between different flavours.
