Ha Ha Ha Ha. What a twit he was. Id have got me hose pipe out if Id done that but Im not daft (he says afternearly setting fire to himself a few years ago making a cuppa tea. I had the gas ring on and lent over it to get to me tea bags and caught me towelling dressing gown over it and it caught light. Put the flames out by rubbing it down quickly).

Good thing you didn't panic, Tim! I set my kitchen on fire when there was a power failure - I put a big fat candle on a tin plate and set it over a very low gas flame to melt the bottom a bit so it would stick firm - but a neighbour called round in a state and I went out into the street to see how widespread the power cut was, then my No1Ex turned up and went upstairs to my flat and found all the kitchen full of smoke and the cooker area ablaze. I've always stuck with Zurich insurance, they've been good to me Lol, it did take me a while to spot the cat though Me too, I had to go back and scour the picture after seeing Marian's next post Chrissie - your posting ID's coming out as "admin" when you're quoted - poor show! Marian, please steal that dear cat scylla

Lol, sorry Scylla, I don't think I can get round that as Admin has to be my log in name so I guess that must be where it is picked up from?
Marian, is there any chance that "Fluffy" is a full Tom? As that would explain why your cats dislike him so much.

could be chrissie but if fluffy had been friendly to start with my lot would have been ok simba the top cat was only interested not aggresive towards fluffy unlike jasper down the street who simba took a dislike to straight away and has regular fights with jasper's owner used to have another cat a big longhaired blue eyed beautie who we called the tail (the tail with a cat attached LOL)simba was fine with that one then there's stripey cat a tabby with no tail and again simba is fine with that one simba is not an agressive cat normally quite the opposite i think he just wasn't going to put up with a newcomer talking to him like that LOL it also didn't help that up till then next doors yard had been simba's territory

That is so sad, Marian. As we're all in varying degrees of down-ness, I think we'd better drop the subject scylla
