...found a tanner. Not really, it' a front tooth - sheared straight off when I bit into a carrot. Ironically I'd just been for a check up this morning - dentist complementing me on how clean my teeth were (thanks to vaping I assume). I expect it's going to cost a few bob as the post has broken too. I've now got a gap that I haven't had since I was a kid, and a lisp Buggery bollockth!

Buggery bollockth indeed mate. Happened to me a while back only I swallowed the damn thing as me chops were full of Biltong at the time, had to do a bit of rear machine gunnery to get rid of it Top front left gnasher too, had to have a steel pin put in and then ye olde pretend tooth clagged to it, not cheap

It's going back a while now and was three visits and cost me £240 If the bugger comes adrift while my skull is still on my neck I'm gonna be grumpy

Hats a bummer Dom especially as you were only there this morning, I broke a tooth on Biltong, same as Luner but thankfully not all the way off.

Bitong is a kind of dried meat (according to google) - I guess it's like pemmican or jerky only even less kind to teeth.
Karma I have an NHS dentist.

That treatment would probably fall into the £209 brackett, unless you're looking for a gold or porcelain one.

Karma I have an NHS dentist. Thank goodness for that! Your £200 budget should see you ok! I'm lucky enough to have an NHS dentist now. I've got a crown on one of my back teeth. The private dentist wanted to re-do it was going to cost over £600 It's still on 'watch' with the NHS and when it does really need re-doing it's going to cost £135!

I had a private dentist. I used to have a detal plan with my job, but it stopped a couple of years back. I was usually able to recoupe around 70% of the work carried out which was great, saved me a fortune. But about a year ago I needed quite a bit of work done. he wanted £1'300 to do it!!! I've since moved dentists and am getting it all done for £209. Ok, the materials used may not be as high standard, but so far, the dentist has been a lot more gentle - female dentist

What's Biltong? Food of the gods. Dried beef from South Africa. When I was a kid a friend's neighbour used to make it and hang it in his garage to dry. One of the walls was mesh and we used to hook it with a long stick and rob him blind. Fortunately the statute of limitations on biltong theft is not that long, so I can clear my rather grubby conscience.

Sniff, several months vaping budget. That's one expensive carrot.
