Very crafty as it looks like a news report.
I think they are connected with the hated Smoking Everywhere & or Smoke Assassins. I've heard they do a very similar thing as the Teeth Whitening lot - ie their free trial is far from a free trial :-(.
Foxy, if you are about, would you mind me posting the info you gave me in your PM re the Proboard stance on e-cigs?

Chrissie: Please go ahead.
AND!! Please never send off for a "Free Trial" of anything you see anywhere on the 'Net. I've fallen foul of the Clear Lift, Pure Lift so-called Free Trial. The company concerned informs me that it is the Trial that is free, not the product and the same 'deal' applies to most, if not all the adverts with similar 'offers.'
Many people have found that the confusing and ambiguous terms and conditions mean that the moment you send for a trial offer, you also sign up to countless 'affiliates' who will remove money from cards/bank accounts without explanation. I've had this happen to me and have no idea who the companies are, what they are providing in exchange for the cash they take or how much they will be taking. They use many different names to withdraw funds and are impossible to track down.
I've never received the 'Trial' for which I paid 'just postage and packing' and yet two different companies attempted to take £53 from my credit card within moments of one another. Fortunately my card company thought the transactions suspicious and declined payment.
The trial starts the moment you accept the offer and goods must be returned before the end of the 14 day period - some of the different products require return unopened - some trial eh?
When dealing from the UK to the US, returning the goods within the period is impossible, leaving the 'victim' to pay regular monthly payments of around £53 for, I understand, six months.
You can cancel by using a toll free number in the US but this will not cancel all the subscriptions to which one has, allegedly, agreed and these will continue for an indefinite period. As they are impossible to track down, it's almost impossible to cancel each individual alleged 'subscription.'
Please Google to check nothing you see as being a good offer is simply a means of separating you from your cash!!

Thanks Fox It is quite ironic that proboards are carrying that ad as this is their stance on e-cigs Foxy asked Proboards whether discussions on e-cigarettes are permitted under their Terms of Service and the owner, Patrick Clinger, said that general discussion is fine but not 'promotion' of the product. To quote: "The mere discussion of a topic does not violate the TOS. If you aren't encouraging/promoting people to use something, but rather just having a discussion about it, then you are clear". ------------------- Fox, a member of Fish's Proboard got stung badly by the teeth whitening ad. They just kept taking money from her bank account & the bank didn't seem to be able to anything to stop it happening Here is a link to my thread about it. The link also contains a link to a thread on eBay's FHG forum with more details as to what happened. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=64
