Not had any problems here - yet. Plenty of irritating thunderbugs around though. Dreading the flying ants descending - and the wasps.

Well, I can heartily recommend Avon's Skin So Soft product for reducing bites when out and about - doesn't smell too bad either. www.alternativeinsectrepellent.co.uk/The SAS also use it when out and about on manoevers wherever there's an insect problem too.

Thanks Peekay, much better for your skin, I'm not a fan of citronella either though, I end up smelling like my kitchen floor

Lol I know, it's only because I've done a lot of travelling in Asia and when you have to wear this stuff every day for 6 months at a time you do get tired of it

I used to have a cat that was partial to daddy longlegs. She'd grab one then stroll away with the legs sticking out the side of her mouth like extra whiskers

It's a fresh musky smell that isn't too strong, so its suitable for blokes as well as the ladies. Trust me - I wouldn't wear the kitchen floor stuff meself.

Loads of bugs and nasties around this year, I read that there are few wasps about (havent seen one yet) due to the really wet weather, that must have a knockon effect. Got stug by a horsefly last week..bloody hurt

I saw a hornet for the first time ever in the UK though last weekend... a small one by hornet standards... horsefly are a pain, evil creatures..
