I've had a relapse and have been back on the ciggies for 2 weeks now. I've decided to give vaping another go after my sore throat stopped me vaping when I tried first time. I started yesterday and my throat is so bad now I can't vape at all it feels like powder hitting the back of my throat. I must be going wrong somewhere. I'm thinking of getting a vg only juice and have tried different strength nics to see if it's that. Any ideas? Do I need to try a different technique? If so please explain lol

It's the smokers halo e-cig a like with pre filled cartos that I will refill myself when empty. It's got menthol juice at 18mg nic.

Have you tried when you're vaping, taking a few good chugs on your ecig, holding the vapour in your mouth for a few moments before inhaling Pixi?
I have to say, I don't vape how I used to smoke at all, in as much as I don't draw/inhale as I used to with ciggies.
It could also be . . . that you're ' sensitive ' to PG, a flavouring or even the carto filler material and drip tip material has been known.
There's no easy answer really, more a case of some trial, error and experimentation for you.

Perpetua yes I've tried hold it in mouth and also sticking my tounge in front of the vapour so it doesn't hit my throat it's just as soon as it enters my mouth my throat acts up.

Perp is right, it could be a reaction to ingredients or the carto. Have you tried any other flavours apart from menthol? I found menthol to be very harsh on my throat too

Pixi the beauty of vaping is that you don't have to use tobacco or menthol. There are so many lush flavours out there to try

Pixi I have just read your thread and im familiar with the juice your using as its what I had when I first started. I wonder if your using pg propelyne glycol, chances are it is and if you their is a very strong possibility that your allergic to it, and that is not uncommon. I would suggest look for juices that are entirely vg vegetable glycerine based and see if that makes a difference, I know people personally who have found it to be far more pleasant.

Interesting thread, I find general vaping makes my throat dry. Who makes the vg only juices? I'd like to try those myself and see if there's a difference for me.
Apologies for the thread-jack.

I've been looking at paradise vape website and will order some next week. They let you choose the pg vg. I also saw some other site that I can't remember the name ....... But you can customise your juice.
