Just wondering if a complete guide could be put together by the vast amounts of knowledge on here. I know we have a beginners guide but i was thinking one that included
How much it takes to fill a cartomizer
How many puffs you should get out of it once full
Whic cartomizers make a hiss and which dont
How many condom fills to initially fill
Actually, i suppose im looking for a cartomizer guide

How much it takes to fill a cartomizer-----------Roughly 1ml How many puffs you should get out of it once full---Depends on the user how long they drag each time, anything between 100-150 for me. Which cartomizers make a hiss and which dont---I'm sure there is supposed to be a "hiss" due to the fact its working if it dosent its a dud. How many condom fills to initially fill---I half full the large condom then place carto in and Finlay top off. If I'm wrong anywhere here someone with better knowledge on this will correct it. Hope this helps

I can't speak highly enough of the Vivi Nova's, essentially a ' tanked ' clearomiser . . . brilliant they are.

Completely agree that I do need to update the beginners guide - any help would be so appreciated I've bought alot of my Boge Cartomisers in bulk from Health Cabin - especially when they have had sales on - they work out at about 50p each - hence why I don't mind binning them (in the metal recycle bin) after 2-3 days.

An updated beginner's guide would be so good, however things are changing so rapidly it would be difficult to keep properly up to date

Thanks for this Im currently getting 30 puffs put of my innokins after starting the cart with 3 condom fills. Im going through boatloads of liquid ajd its costing me more than smoking did The only place the liquid can go if it not leaking out everywhere is being turned into vape. As to the cost........ what price is your health worth to you? As an ex 20 a day smoker I reckon you can get by on spending about £10 a week, liquid prices are falling so it may be even cheaper than that. As a newbie you will get through more liquid but as you gain more rexperience your vaping costs will fall, unless you can't resist buying new shiney things, like many here!

I fully agree regarding the health thing, its been 8 months since my last real cig so hopefully i'm free and clear. I just dont want to end up spending 40/50 quid a month on my e liquid.
The tips on here have really helped, now i know that it takes 1ml to fill a carto i can use the 2.0ml dropper i have to pull 1.0ml out of a bottle and drip it into the cart rather than using guess work. #icon_cheers#

Going to move this to the forum help, feedback & suggestions board. That way, it will remind me to do something about updating/replacing the pinned How to get started thread
