I have never gone higher than 10-12 nicotine amount in my e juice. Obviously as I've gone nearly 3 months without a death stick it is enough to satisfy my nicotine craving. However my question out of interest mainly is, does a higher nic content such as 18 have any effect on the vapour, throat hit,or taste of the juice?

I only use 1 juice all the time at 18mg. I also got 1 bottle of 24mg to try and I do think it tastes different. I prefer the 18mg.

higher nic content usually gives a greater throat hit some say they can also taste the nic so it may effect the flavour but i havent really found that

Lol, Malibu I tend to vape around 18mg now, often cut down to 15 in the evening but anything lower and something seems to be missing

I'm going to try a bit lower, sometime before Christmas. If anything goes missing I'm straight back up again I would like to get off nicotine altogether but not at the expense of my sanity. If I need it.............I'll have it !

I've never noticed any difference in flavour or vapour with various nicotine strengths, only the throat hit differs.
I have heard people say otherwise but personally I think it's likely that they're just taking longer, deeper draws when using low strength liquid to get the same buzz. This would account for more flavour and vapour.

I've been itching for sometime to try Grizwalds Gourmet samplers, because of the higher nic content ( 20 mg on the samplers ) I have held off. I think I may try a couple in which case Malibu I will let you know if there is a difference. Make a change for me to tell you something !!!! Lol #Tease-smiley#

I noticed it initially with the pick n mix, then got use to it,I had been using lower from 12-18,It did help remove a few of my several ciggies a day, having a higher nic level, throat hit I didn't notice so much,I may be different to others,I don't care about throat hit, just vapour and taste and if it hits me hard in the lungs I don't like it at all

I'm not even sure what throat hit is, what I am getting seems fine, I no longer smoke and I don't like the taste much if I turn the voltage up on anything. So looks like normal batteries, SR juice things and 18mg menthol will do me. ( certainly for now, one never knows if things will begin to pale after a while )

I don't think low nic. affects the taste or the vapour, just throat hit as the others have said. I don't need throat hit either and certainly don't need the headaches and dizziness I get with high nic. content.
