Your thread has really hit me. I was in exactly the same position. 25 gram of tobacco a day. When i read your post it dawned on me how bad a smoking habit i had. Thankfully for me I was lucky enough to quit before any health problems hit me.

But let me tell you what I think. You want vapour there's a couple of things.
The ability to increase power will give you better vapour and throat hit. A viva nova and an ego twist will be a great combo to have. Some decent cartomisers lying around for the time when you fancy that draw.
Anyway whereabouts in the country are you?

hi all and thanks,im from manchester but ive lived in devon for the past 16 years,yep having copd is a get it gets me irritable and down,but thats what happens when you get hooked on smoking,glad i found this site though really helped,i will have a look at all the recommended e cigs thanks.

Hi and welcome warp :-) if you don't mind me asking, which part of Devon are you in? I travel through Devon almost weekly and if you wanted could meet you and give you some tips about vaping and show you some options. A short meeting can save a lot of typing!

Hiya Warp, I bought the Riva 1100 and I'm very happy with it, it's a great kit. After smoking heavily for over 40 years, I found that once I began vaping, even though I still had a roll up when I wanted one, I cut down dramatically from the very first day and smoked less, and less each day. By the end of the first week, I'd gone from 40-50 roll ups a day, down to none and haven't smoked one since. I hope you find giving them up as easy as I have, good luck.

You don't say what tobacco you roll. I did Old Holborn - about the same amount as you - and I like the OK Smokey Old Holborn flavour, 18mg strength.
Don't think that just cos you're a heavy smoker you need a higher strength juice.
Whatever, going from smoking to vaping is one of the best decisions any of us have ever made, so try different stuff if you need to, but stick with it until it works

Hi Warp, take up DiscoDes's offer as it will save you a lot of time, money and mistakes!
I was on 45 superkings a day until last May when I started using a Skycig kit. I then gradually cut down the ciggies and upped the vaping, albeit, recharging the cartos with e-liquid while I learned a bit more about vaping.
On the 10th of June I went 100% vape and shortly afterwards, bought the Vision 1000.
This gives me the battery power to vape all day without recharging and, when needs must and I need a wee boost, I can up the voltage to get a stronger hit. This stops me chewing the dashboard or skelping the wife when I get agitated!!!!
But really, the bottom line is that although I am still getting all the nicotine, satisfaction, flavour and general well being I want, according to the docs, I have stopped smoking.
