Oooh,i just read that Alan Titchmarsh had E-Cigs on his show on No Smoking Day.Must watch that on catch-up !! He's a non-smoker,so i guess he used a no-nic one but nice to see them get on the tv in the UK :-)

My stepmum met Alan when she was queuing up to get in for a talk he was giving - he had to queue up too! She said he was really very natural and friendly.

Respect to Alan for having e-cigs on his show!

Just watched it,its in the first 6 minutes of the show,Alan and 3 of his guests all have one.....and he gets a coughing fit :-D

Oo i like the look of the ecig she used on letterman,(how shallow am i ) does anyone know the model. Goes off to search for a gold manual ecig with a red end ooo er missis.
edit, just watched the clip again and can't work out if the ecig is gold or silver. Still like the red end though

We long-term vapers all started off with an e-cig with a "red end", Furbie It's an LED light mimicking a lit cigarette. However, it can get you into "trouble" in pubs etc, where the management may say "I can't have you vaping because even tho' it's not a cigarette my other customers will think it is and that will cause me hassle" kinda thing.

Then they made the LEDs in blue, green, pink...

Now that we're grown-up vapers we don't need the LED

Yep that makes sense, i am grown up enough not to need a red led but still not too grown up to find a gold or silver manual 501, will keep my eye on the selling thread. ;)_

I saw "The Tourist" movie yesterday! It's with Ang Jolie and Johnny Depp...
Someone have slready told me that Depp's character used a e-cig and in fact he does! Dunno if you people were aware of that but I didn't saw it mentioned anywhere... Apart from being a great movie, he does mention it provides nic without the bad effects of tobacco! It was nice to see that it's starting to be known! (even though it's the red led in front model and he smokes a real fag later in the mov) 0o

Aldo, I also heard that Johnny Depp uses an e-cigarette, I don't know if he smokes too. It would appear that he probably does both as some people use the e-cig just to cut down on smoking. That's how I started.
