Hi all Firstly, apologies for being absent for so long. A combo of family issues and laziness has kept me away, I'll endeavour to not let it happen again.
Secondly, chrissie, hope the injuries are now a thing of the past.
Thirdly, nearly 9 months without a cigarette!
Anyhow, my main reason for this post is to do with carto's. I got a vision e3 which ( with Jason ve help ) got working on my provari ( still in love ) but can only use it at 3.4v with g&s otherwise it starts to taste burnt, is this normal?
I also have a few tanks which again I don't find overly pleasant, regardless of juice.
So, basically I live off boges, use my pv at 4.0 and everything is cool, for all my juices.
Basically, am I missing a trick here, thought the bigger bits of kit would be an improvement.
Anyhow, sorry for the absence on the forum but am I don't something wrong?
Best regards James

Hi James. I assume the vision is the one with the interchangeable heads? If so, which resistance head are you using?

Not sure why your having these problems James everything I stick on my Provari works well, I check the resistance of whatever atty I use and adjust the volts accordingly, unless you have LR atty's?

got the 2.8ohm version, and the adaptor, just seems to burn when i raise the voltage past about 3.4.... vapes ok, tastes a bit like a normal carto in a riva. just thought it might have a better 'range' if you know what i mean.
never heard of these penelope's, must look into.
Provari is still going strong even though being dropped a few times, there's a mini one isn't there????? probably not cheap. hi again to everyone, still experimenting but end up going back to standard boges..... got about 5 tanks i never use!
Cheers James

Penelope is a tank/atomiser. Holds about 2ml of juice and you make the coils & wicks yourself. It has variable air flow and juice flow to tweak your vape. It is the mutts nuts

Hard to get, yes. Although the guy that makes them, Imeo, has said he'll keep making them to pre-order until demand is met. They tend to get released in batches. Complex to maintain, no.... once you've learned how to build them and make a decent coil they go on and on

They are machined from stainless steel. See this thread for a full tutorial
