I hereby announce that I will be buying no more shiny things before the provari Looking at prices and bits and bobs, I think I must be missing something very obvious, the extension cap on the provari mini allows you to use 18490 batteries. But none of the XTAR chargers say that they charge 18490 batteries ???

It charges my 18350s using 2 spacers. I pressume 18490s are longer so can't see it being a problem

Thanks Karma, that was what was confusing me, for the different kinds of XTAR chargers there is a long list of the numbers that it charges and 18490 wasn't on either, I was like WTF?

Charged my 18490 using an xtar wp2 ellen, just leave in the spacer that comes with it, only takes a couple of hours tops.

There you go ellen, looks something like this. If I were you id get xtar one aswell. I say that because I also got an ultra fire is it called? Can't remember what vendor I got it from unfortunatley. But it goes snap crackle and pop whenever I plug it in. sounds scary so I dont use it and I've seen someone else say the same. You might wanna check that you get those spacers included. Very handy. I believe you need them for everything other than 18650s?

Yup the trustfire ones, I was warned well away from them, so definitely worth paying extra for the XTAR

you'll only need the spacers for the 18350...18490 fit fine as standard
