Yup it was shoelace type stuff, Jason was a bit puzzled by it too. The Penelope is very airy and did drive me mad at first and you are talking about a gnat's wotsit to get the balance right between unscrewing the post to get the tightest draw and still having it protruding enough to fire from the mod (on a twist anyway) It's still not perfect for me but I've just started to get used to it as an airy draw/vape. I only notice the difference when I used things like the innokin cartos you gave me (which I'm really enjoying btw) or River's box mod thing that he kept giving me to try

Yeah I know exactly what you mean about a gnats wotsit. I was there this morning! Problem is it looks so good on the provari and handy too. But not a tight draw as id hoped. You see, I told you those innokin carts rocked didn't I. I tried a whole box and all consistent too.

The Penelope is definitely airy on a twist, the adjustment makes it airy or very airy, but never tight.
On a Provari it can get so tight it's almost impossible to suck through. The more the centre pin sticks out, the more airy the draw on whetever mod you use.

Right, I've got the penny nice and tight. Defo not my imagination. I've got the centre post sticking out the bottom of the penny as far as it will go. Roughly 4mm? And its purrefect. Like a german virgin. Thats shnicend tight.
Then I had the centre post almost flush with the bottom of the penny, just sticking out a gnats doobree past the threads. Airy as hell. So defo not my imagination. Good news though for people who say its too airy. I can get this bad boy to give a TIGHT draw on the provari. (somehow).
I'm only making this post in the unlikley event someones wishing to try and dissect what I've done to make their draw tighter.
Now I've just gotta read up and work out where I've gone opposite somewhere.
I believe it can only be the ceramic and the other end of that centre post and nut.
