broken battery

i am wondering if someone can help me .

i was charging up one of my riva batteries,but when i took it off the charger,the bit in the middle of battery was still attached to the charger.i have it off the charger,but is there any way of fixing it,as am now down to one battery.thanks in advance alison.

We do have a member here who is very adept at fixing batteries, but even so you will be down to just one battery for a week or so

Any Riva or ego bat will fit on your charger so my advice would be to order one as soon as possible, most vendors post the same day!

What part of the battery is missing? The centre pin part of the contact? ???

yes its the centre pin,i have it though as was still connected to charger luckily.

The centre pin is soldered to a wire, this wire can break, it just needs soldering back on. I say just, if the wire is within the battery then the battery needs to come apart to repair. I have one of mine here that this happened to months ago it is still in bits and I need to get around to doing it. Macca has repaired a few for board members.

This is another example of needing back ups for your back ups, the ABSOLUTE minimum amount of batteries is 2 but if one breaks you're in trouble; but if you had a spare (i.e. 3 or more) then you'd still be okay. You can get them pretty cheaply, Paradise Vapes does Ego 650 mAh £5.50 or consider the Ego V2 from Vape Escape for about £13 then you'll have a variable voltage one as well. HERE.

i would not have a clue how to fix it,not got steady hands either,but if someone can fix this i would be thankful,have ordered a battery as well.
