I Vapour 510 LR Cartos

Ian, am I right in thinking the condom method is were you fill the rubber cover with juice, prick it with a syringe, then the juice in the syringe goes into the carto?

Hi Hissie.I dont even do that.Add 16-20 drops to the condom.Push down slowly,stop every now and then for a few sconds.Keep doing this until you reach bottom of codom.Finally take carto out of condom which is now empty,give it a little shake,leave a few minutes for juice to absorb and distribute around the filer then ENJOY.After i have done this i just add drip tip until performance drops off.After performance REALLY gets poor(4-5 days usually)this is when i find they get a bit clogged so shove em i the pan and boil far 10-15mins.When fully dry you simply restart this procedure again.In my opinion doing this makes cartos last ALOT longer.Some people really cant be bothered but i swear by this method.

I did this last night with 2 that had got poor.Woke up this mng.Filled one with Jimmys menthol and other with camel.Both are now working like new.The longest carto i have had is one that i boiled about 5 times and lasted me a month.Who doesnt like to save a few quid here and there??I always buy a 5 box every order from James,but by boiling 5 cartos are lating me a VERY long time.Its just atties that i struggle with.Like atties coz they dont cane the juice so much,but i have had poor ones lately so mainly use cartos these days.Cheap and cheerful,but god your juice takes a HUGE hammering.

Just to get this right:

fill the condom with juice > slowly push the carto (battery end up) into the condom. Once soaked up juice, remove condom (& I'm assuming wipe away excess) > shake > leave for a few mins = job done?

Yes Hissie that is correct.Sorry forgot to mention wipeing away excess as didnt want to insult your intelligence.I also said the other day that i have not had a carto that lasted me 7 days or more.What i neglected to mention in that post was BOILING PROCESS.TBH i find that Jimmys cartos give the best vape,boil the best and last the longest out of all i have used.ALSO they are the best priced.WHAT a bonus.Must admit that LR cartos after boiling are not as good.They will still work but seem to lose a little of the LR effect.Jimmys cartos seem to vape like LR anyway.????.All my standard resistance cartos are now lasting me alot longer than any regular atty.REALLY glad i found this method on YOU TUBE.To date i have only had 2 cartos which were dead once filled and i have used a hell of alot of companys.Found LFs cartos to be the worst and Toby and Jimmys the best.Hope someone tries this method and agrees.I past this method on to my dad and he now does the same as me and has had no problems.

Bear with me Ian, as I don't 'do' cooking - have read your really informative posts on boiling carto's . . . . . now when you say 'boiling' is that just pouring some hot water over them?

Or! Shock, horror . . . do I have to do stuff on a hob and time things.

At last I am getting a really nice vape from a carto!
The ones Perpie sent arrived today, Initially got the 'onion' taste but drowned it out with a drop or two of 'Gingerbread and am now using it with a drip tip..
Suddenly I see the attractions of cartos..

Will update how I'm getting on later. I'm so bias towards regular 510 atties, that I always find a close good comparison. However, I'm open to change

Liking the carts...not liking their thirst for juice. I rekon carts will be used in the event of an attie failure. Can't afford to keep them going, I'll be out of juice in no time.

Hi perpy.Yes in a pan on the hob.Dont worry though no need for exact timeing here.Just wait until you have a couple of underperformers,shove em in a pan of boiling water for 10-15mins.Basically you are cleaning all that residue out and cleaning the filler.You can actually smell that gunky e-juice when you tip water out when finished.I did 2 last night and put them to dry overnight.Worked again PERFECTLY.Jimmys seem to boil perticularly well.Make sure your rubber caps are off though.

Hissie,im really happy the cartos are vapeing well for you.They are good as back up i must say.I will admit if i could find some good standard 510 attys i would put mine for back up to.Im open to atty suggestions.Who is this Eastmall supplier anyway???Is it a uk supplier???must admit i have not heard of em before.

That's brilliant, thank you Ian - I've got one at the gurgly stage so I will probably dust off the saucepan and have a boiling session tomorrow night, just as a test run.

I did a fab order for some of us a few weeks back as it works out very reasonable on the postage if there are a few of you as it's a set $17 whatever quantity you order.

If you'd like to try some of their LR510's and/or LR510 carto's just say as I've some spare you could have.

I rarely have an issue with 510 atties Ian. The majority of the ones I have were purchased in the TECC sale. Also, the 2 that came with my Riva from LF were great too.

Can't comment on other suppliers & have only purchased LR510s from EM.

Im just going through a bad run i think.Its not happened to me before so am a little confused.My LR510 from James that i got today is absolutely fine.????Guess i will just put the wimpy attys on my GD passthrough when i get my new hub and see if they are ok on that.Failing this i will try giving them mouth to mouth and putting them in the recovery position.LOL.
