Could it be the extra 4mg or an allergy?

Strange but from vaping 18 and 20mg content juice (and nearly chain-vaping in the mornings) I decided on some new flavours of 24mg juice to maybe get to the point where I vape less often, I'm having mild palpitations and feeling decidedly odd. Now could this be down to the strength or could it be that I'm having an allergic reaction to something in the juice? I'm allergic to coriander, cumin and tbh most aromatic flavours and the reaction I'm having is also like when I'm having a mild reaction to foods containing evil.
Any ideas if I could be having a reaction to the flavours or the extra 4mg nic content?

Disclaimer: I'm aware that these will be your opinions not vetted medical advice so I'm after your take on this.

Also, what mg of liquid would I need to add to this to take them down to 18mg? 24 + 16 = twice as much @ 20mg?

I'm guessing your are OD on nic , you could however have a reaction to either vg or pg , which has been known . the way forward is to try pg only , vg only and also lower nic content , it is unfortunately hit and miss to find what suits you personally

Sounds like you could be taking too much nicotine on board Firin . . . make sure you're keeping well hydrated with fluids as well.

i'm fine with anything 18mg...but tried some 25mg a while back and it gave me a horror of a cough and a sore throat

only way you'll find out for sure is by the process of deduction

I've been upping my water intake (due to people saying to keep hydrated) so from going from almost no water to around 1.5-2 litres a day I'm confident I'm taking on enough liquid.
PG/VG has not changed, it's still 50/50 so I doubt(?) it's that.
I think I'm just going to have to work it by adding bits untill I feel weird again :-[
My gut is that it's one of the flavours that's not working for me

I smoke 18mg and find 24mg way too much. Maybe it's a non-linear thing (like decibels).

Firin is one of your allergies capsicums (peppers)? A lot of juices contain some capsicum flavouring to simulate throat hit

I started on 12mg mate, moved to 18mg and found 24mg was just too strong, gave me those feeling of lightheadedness if such a word exists hah, in all honesty sounds like a nic overdose, now I vape 20mg only and it's just about right just over 18mg but nicely below 24 disclaimer attached lol

If the problem isnt an allergy it may be down to your vaping habit, you said you chain vape in the morning?
Maybe use the high mg juice in the afternoon, after you have had your morning nic fix?

Sadly the afternoon was actually when I had the stronger stuff, by late afternon I was feeling decidedly dodgy.

It looks like I'll have to dillute the new stuff down.

Is my maths correct that if I add a 30ml bottle of 8mg to my existing 30ml 24mg one, I'll end up with 60ml of 16mg content?

Why did I not just get a tester? Grrrr. Oh well, VE Jason's going to get that helicopter sooner than he thinks!
