I had a go at this on facebook a month or so ago. It seemed a bit unfair, given that experienced players can buy all sorts of "power ups" that improve their chances. Or at least that's the impression I got. I only played a couple of rounds and didn't really study all the options. Is there a way of playing without power ups? Just a straight up head to head quiz, with no advantages?

im not sure what the power ups are apart from taking out two choices... but then the time you take to click that is wasted time with the lightening speed we play at

You build up (free) power ups at the end of the week dependant on how many rounds you have won.

You can buy them, if you must but it is not necessary, the Power ups (that look like notes) can be used in 2 ways, a. To shuffle the category list before commencing a round. Or b. to remove 2 options when the answers come up. I hardly ever use option b, but do use option a now and then.

Also you can get power ups by collecting coins, 3 for winning a round or 1 if you lose, 400 coins gets you 10 power ups. You can get extra music genres (categories) as well by "spending" your coins.

Come on people, just play and you'll build up coins, you'll find the more you play the better you'll get.

I just added the category Reggae so I can choose it when I play, even if you don't "own" this category if I choose it, it will be the category that we play.
