Penelope VS Vision Viva nova???

Good Morning all,
Why is it I seem to get a better draw and sattisfaction usiing my vision as to my new Penny is it me just not preping my penny right
do you think, a lot more vape and easier to draw on the vision,
Please advise what you think.

John the Penelope is more versatile in terms of setup, so she should score better on both counts. To get more vapour you open the juice control a tad, and to get an easier draw you extend the centre pin a bit. As long as you've got a decent coil and the resistance/voltage balance is right try experimenting with the flows

Don't know if there's an easy answer to that John, I've always enjoyed the Clearomiser type vape, so the Vivi Nova hits the spot nicely for me.

Although, I also enjoy Penelope, it's a different type of vape for me. Alot of that depends upon how you set it up I think . . . plus Imeo did design it for Proteus, so maybe there are compromises using it on other devices?

Agree, depends on the setup but like Perps, I enjoy the clearo types as well, I never fully enjoyed my Ody as much as others, felt to hefty in my mouth, I have a DID now and with the clear tank and my own drip tips, I enjoy it a lot but I still use my clearo tank and my prize atty the RDA, we are just different

The DID, is a Genesis style rebuildable John, which uses Mesh as a wick . . . and the RDA is a Rebuildable Dripping Atomiser.

Johnny boy, I felt exactly the same. Even thought about getting rid of my penny. But I just didnt have it set up right but thought I had. It worked and worked well. Just a naff vape. But not anymore!

Hi Jay, I have adjusted the bottom screw which has given a better vape with more smoke but I coverd myself in juice when I refilled it, that little rubber ring was not right down, fixed that and now better, I take it that if you screw the screw in it will decrease the smoke, Is that right, you see you have to keep empting it to addjust, #attachment# #attachment#

The rubber o ring, I had that slip down the centre post on mine aswell

Clean it out, and start again from blakeys thread. Thats all I can say mate that would benefit you.

Ill add however that maybe you've flooded it? It appears that when I flooded mine I got weak vapour. What ohms you seeing on your coil? And what voltage are you at do you know?

Too little juice and you will get poor vapour but also burnt taste, too much juice for the volts and you will also get little vapour as the coil cannot burn it off, it's a fine line, the first important thing imo is to get the airflow how you like it, and this can take a while for us newby's, then the correct volts for the coil setup then the correct ammount of juice flow, when you get it right it's amazing, when it's not right then other lesser setup's can appear better, but that's just how they appear #icon_rofl#

Right washed her out adjusted the bottom screw out more than Cam had it set at!!!
Half as much as he had it, refilled her Voltage 3.6. Oms 1.7 , let her soak for 30 min's
Use , now we are talking , Vaping well nice amount of smoke and nice flavour, Pixi mint choc chip, I think I have it spot on, Just waitin for Postie to bring my Magnifing G;ass on stand and then into coils and wick making.

I wanted Penelope but after reading and reading and all the messing about that goes with it and lack of spares and availability even more so now I will give it a miss for a while and stick with me nova
