What is the basic difference between a Mini LT and a full size LT?

The mini takes a smaller battery, 18350 which will last for less time between charges than the full sized version which takes a 18650 bat. The mini is also smaller apart from that they offer the same vv experience

These two batteries, the 18350 and the 18650, are they easy to come by or are they specialised batteries?

Specialised, yes to a degree... they are used in torches, cycle lights as well as e-cigs. Easy to come by, yes online
