I normally wear my e-cig on a lanyard around my neck.
This is really handy both when I'm working and driving during the day.
However I have just bought a Viva Nova to give me enough juice to last all day without having to carry extra juice with me, but as I use Ego-C upgrade batteries, the Viva Nova is too heavy for the Ego batteries and my e-cig would hang up-side-down if I used it on the lanyard.
Short of glueing a bit of lead weight to the bottom of my batteries, has anyone got any suggestions as to what kind of battery I could get for the Viva Nova that I could still use with a lanyard but would be heavy enough to counteract the weight of the filled tank?

I saw the pics you posted of your lanyard in your cab, so I can picture your problem. I assume you have the 3.5ml vivi. Hanging upside down won't damage it or spill juice, but I can see that it would be a pain. Suggesting heavier mods/batteries is not a problem, but I can't think of one that is designed to be used with a lanyard.

Hi Onedayillquit, That wasn't me, but I did see that pic and it was a good idea. I wear mine on a lanyard around my neck so that it is always handy whether I'm in the workshop or garden as well as while I'm driving. The fact that it will hang the wrong way up is not a real problem, it is just that it is handier if it is the right way up, oh and it looks better.

I'd suggest a lavatube or lavatube Mini but you'll have to devise a way of attaching the lanyard. then it might be too heavy for the retracting cord.

Or how about a belt holster rather than a lanyard? Like the ones used for torches?

Where have you fitted that Des? Round the conact post? Yup it's only a thin loop of cord on the end. The lanyard was a freebie at Vapefest.

The VH-E2 Twist is quite a hefty bit of battery - vapourhut.com/batteries/vh-e2-twist - I have the 900mah one and it is fairly chunky (certainly outweighs my mini nova!), out of stock now, but hoping it returns as it is a cracking battery - vv but shorter than the ego twist - and a great price. Don't know if I'd want it on a lanyard tho - might crack ribs on the downswing EDIT: Oh, and it has an Ego head so should fit the lanyard... although you could get an ego adapter for the lavatube...

I had a look at the prices of Lavatubes and Provaris today and decided that she who must be obeyed would have a hairy fit if I spent that kind of money just to get a hanging right way up e-cig. Whilst I am sure they do the biz for those that want variable voltage units, I am not knowledgeable enough to warrant spending that kind of money (yet). So necessity being the mother of invention and because of where the air holes are on the Viva Nova, it is possible to attach the loop of my lanyard between the collar plinth and the base of the tank and by putting it there, the lower part is then heavier than the upper part and so it hangs correctly. I do have to fiddle a bit so as not to block the air-holes, but it is working well. Thanks for the replies and I now know what a Lavatube and a Provari is, even if I can't afford them.

What is an LT? I don't see it on the abbreviations.
