Hello guys,
My cheap chinese charger is putting out 3.7v. The output on the back states 4.2. Do we think this means it's had it?
I've left the batt on charge for 6 hours today and the light never went green. Not sure if the batt is knackared as I think it's this one I left on charger over night the other night.
Is there any otherway to test?

I wouldn't know how to test but I would say three things: 1) Cheap battery chargers can be lethal 2) Leaving batteries unattended whilst charging can be dangerous 3) Buy an Xtar charger, on the top setting I can charge 2 18650's safely in less than 2 hours Not preaching, just looking out for you Link: www.vapeescape.co.uk/xtar-wp2ii-charger~408

I'm not taking it was preaching. TBH.. I was hoping not to have to spend more money on charger/batts but think you may well be right.
I hadn't spent much in my last three months in vaping, started mods and I can see a skyward curve in the money lol

As I said in my posts on your other thread get an Xtar. Here's why : I and many other on here have had the cheap chargers, some are fine but a significant proportion are not, I have had about 4 or 5 chargers including with various mods i've bought, a couple failed pretty quickly. If i'd just stuck my hand in my pocket initially and bought an XTar I would have saved money, rather than put up with the failures. These sort of devices could potentiaslly cause fires and spending a bit will minimise the chance that you and your family become a statistic.

Lol I'm in the same boat and it's been making me paranoid, I had to buy some stuff from VE today and bunged the xtar in to get free delivery :-) Also remembered to use the discount code, I forgot to use it the past 2 times.

What is bloody odd! That batt that I charged yesterday last all evening vaping but still showed 1 bar power! I charged the other other batt over evening, never went green and when tested showed 1 bar still too. The batts are reading 3.7v on the multimetre so maybe it's the charger thats had it
