Help! - Ego Twist heating up

I've had my ego twist for nearly a month and recently started using it with a vivi nova tank. I've found with a boge sr cartomiser that i get best taste at 4.2 volts with Black Cat.

When I used strawberry ice cream juice in the mini-nova vaping at 3.5v there was no issues.

However, when I vape Black Cat at around 4.2 volts with a 2.4 ohm mini nova, the base of the nova and the top of the ego seems to be getting quite hot. Is this normal?

Yes it is, if it gets too hot to hold and you can hear your juice boiling then that's too hot. I just filled up a carto on a SD keyring and was amazed how hot it got.

Oh and 4.2 V is a pretty high setting so I'm not suprised it's hot, remember it's metal you're touching so it transmits the heat well.

I'm vaping Black Cat in a 2 ohm DCT on a LT at 3.7! My LT is toasty

If it got too hot to hold it would be outside

Still chain vaping th above but with a different bat. the battery in my LT when I posted above is from a well known e-cig vendor and is sold as a battery for the LT!

I now have one of torchy's samsung bats in the LT under the same circumstances and it's not toasty at all, very, very slightly warm,could even just be the warmth from my hand! Has got me thinking
