HI I'm not thinking of getting one atm but I am curious. The atty I've used (306) only held e few drops of liquid, I'm guessing as they are bigger you can fit more in something like a Penelope?
Also, what do you do between juices? say I smoked a menthol then wanted a fruit one do you clean them or does the flavour just disappear? ANd if you were to vape menthol in one considering how much the taste hangs around in clearos and cartomisers would it then be ruined? BAck to Penelope she's a bit too expensive for having one for menthol, one for fruit, one for coffee etc.
Lastly would they work on a riva 1100?

The Penelope holds 3ml of liquid, so it isn't easy to change flavours and yes if you like to swap juices as much as I do, I would need/want/like several Penelopes There are several ways people change flavours, some do it just by refilling the tank with a different juice and vaping through the flavour change, Others would wash the tank and the wick a bit like you might with a clearomiser and fill with new juice and change flavours that way. Then there is another option, which is what I do and that is to fully wash and rebuild the coil with fresh wick whenever I change flavours, as I'm a fussy sod and don't like mixes There is a big leap in juice volume from a 306 to something like a Penelope. Somewhere in between would be like the VH rebuildable dripper which can hold about 20 drops and you change flavours or wicks a lot easier. Something like a Penelope or any other tank rebuildable isn't really suitable for testing or swapping flavours a lot. It's more for a juice that you already love and want to vape a lot of. Hope that helps

Just realised I missed your last question, yes in theory any coils that you build that are higher than 2.0ohms can be used on your Riva, but there is a risk of shorts or other problems with something like a Riva, you can kill your battery if you make a mistake like I did A safer and still fairly cheap battery for a rebuildable would be something like an Ego Twist

Thank you for answering. As I say I'm not looking to buy just yet as the benefits people have decided to stop my money (will be appealing) so trying not to spend much!!!
Definitely will be kept in mind for future though, and been thinking about getting an ego-t for ages so that'll be my first purchase when money is sorted!!

When you do the VH dripper might be a good option for you, I haven't tried one yet but if you look in the review section on here lots of members are praising them and they're only about £15 I think

And the VH Dripper helps to practice coils on and to get to understand the means and ways of coiling, a simple device that has no complicated bits to, a very good starter rebuildable, the flavour is good as well, just remember to keep the air in-take hole facing up

Hope not Brian, whilst there is a learning curve with any of rebuildables, they are doable with a bit of practise, like anything.
Although, I'd be the first to say, they're not for everyone . . . so if you've not spent a massive sum on trialing one out, it's not quite so much of a heartbreak, although maybe there could even be a few pleasant surprises.

I've just ordered some 1.8ohm a short while ago. It was showing as sold out but after a quick word with Callum via live chat, he told me it was available and updated the system allowing me to order straight away. First time dealing with Callum @ HEV and was most impressed. He explained all the postage options and as I was only after a few pieces of the wick he said it was fine to use the 99p delivery on small orders such as this. I also used the dissie code with no probs. Look forward to seeing a vid of a nova/vision rewick Des
