Gosh, do you Ckc . . . it wouldn't be for me as it looks a bit cumbersome, plus I do wonder how many of these variable voltage settings will actually be used?
Interesting though - it will appeal to a select market I fancy?

I think the thing i like about it is that it doesn't look like it's been made out of a torch or a bit of pipe for a change. It's a bit long i agree on that.I did wonder if juice would run out of it if you did stick it in your pocket like it shows in the vid 'cause he looks like he's dripping with it but for looks i rather like it.At $200+ i'd want to be able to change the battery though ! It's just nice to see where PV's are going.

I agree that it's an "amazing device" and I don't mind the size/appearance. How long before the battery won't recharge, though? What's the button-feel like? Must have a look at ECF... [Re battery only lasting one year.] "That's true if you are talking about Lithium Ion batteries, like what we have been using in other mods. The Darwin uses LiPo batts, which are the same as what they use in the iPhone, etc. They're designed to last much longer. You should get a good three years from these batteries, and even then, replacements are only going to be around $25." [per AngusATAT, ECF Forum Manager]But the battery is soldered in, so some peeps would need to send it to supplier for replacement. Here's a pic of the LED panel (I'm assuming it's LED, I couldn't read all the review cos it was too much!): It's very encouraging that it will be coming on the market because others will be trying to compete It's all progress! scylla
