Regarding the "legs" and the "body" of the wire, are you using solder, or twisting? Thanks muchly for the links btw also on the wire, could you specify which is resistance and which is no resistance please Twisting, now got it down to a very small join, took me a few weeks to master though. See, this is why I didn't put resitance and non resitance because I'm having a thicko day today, the bit that wraps around the wick (resistance I believe) is the 4cm bit and thats' the 0.212 wire. Top tip - you will need to burn with a lighter the non resiatmce bit several times so it glows, it stops the taste being impared on the first 10 or so minutes of vaping. 5mm wicks produce more vapour and more taste (so I and a few others think anyway)

Glad to hear you're enjoying the Penelope, the draw is a lot better and tighter on a provari. It does make you a little dizzy at first before you get used to it

Also if you want a chance to really play around with the VV on your Provari, you might want to make higher resistance coils at first than the 1.8ohm Tim suggested. Make one around 2.4 ohms maybe. Whilst there is nothing wrong in theory with vaping 1.8ohms at almost 5 volts Tim is slightly crazy

If you're using the ready wire it's probably about 1.6 or 1.7ohms

I'll echo what Ellen says, you can get the draw very tight on a Provari, so much so your cheeks will look like Pete Burns (for children of the 70's/80's). Also my last coil was 2.7 ohms this gives me a huge voltage range to play with. The juice control on mine is pretty sensitive and a quater turn can make all the difference between clouds of vapour and gurgling. Oh yes and the first time I used it I vaped myself dizzy

FIEND.. Im impressed! Can I ask what you do for the 3 piece wires, and for a link regarding the wicks at 5mm? I make up a central wick consisting of 2 x 2mm bits and 1 x 1mm bit, the 1mm can be bought from here: www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=172The 2mm I bought from: www.cig-eliquid.co.uk/2mm_fiberglass_wick/p649230_2911788.aspxYou cut one of the 2mm wicks so that it sits flush with the top of the coil area on the penelope and the other 2mm and 1mm drop down either side as usual. Found this to be an awesome setup (as have a few others on here) Wire I got from wires.co.uk and I use 4cm's of 0.212mm Nickel Chrome and 0.20 for the legs (as I call them) Tim, I have 0.20 silver wire & .20 nickel chrome wire, Which one would you use for the legs as you call them, Thanks.
