confused newbie needs advice please

I've come over from MSE as I need to stop smoking 30 nasty cigarettes a day.

I have read/watched a lot about e cigs. I understand how they work and look forward to using them.

However, I'm confused by the amount of choice.

I smoke 30 low tar cigs at the moment, could you give me your thoughts on what strength/flavor to start with please.

Hi Tadpole & welcome

I think as you are a fairly heavy smoker, one of the larger models like the Tornado/Riva would be best for you. As long as you don't mind the fact they are a fair bit bigger than a real cig?

As for juice, I think a highish strength one of about 18-24mg.

I have ordered an Amo from Liberro but the snow has put paid to delivery If you get a Tornado you will have plenty of fellow users here to support you, but no-one else yet has the Amo.

The price of setting yourself up with e-cigs and accessories can be daunting at first sight, but comparing it to a month's worth of fags soon puts it in perspective

You won't know what you're dealing with until you get an e-cig in your hands and have a go, so just dive in, is my advice

I'm new too, the lovely people on here are great for advice.
I have really cut down on smoking since I started vaping.

Hello again, sorry for not popping back sooner.
I found a breast lump (had the big C back in '94) and went into panic mode again. Appt on Monday so will know one way or the other.
Needless to say my smoking went through the roof!
I hope its just a cyst, (i'm menapausal so the age for them) would be bl**dy unlucky to get it twice (its in the other boob this time) but you never know.

I will pop back in on Monday with the outcome and what ever that is, I need to switch asap.

Thank you all so much for your concern.
I'm so pleased to be able to say I've got not 1, but 50 little cysts!!!
20 all in a group so it felt like 1 lump and the others are so small I didn't know I had them.
Ultra scans and mammograms are wonderful things.

My dad has ordered one of these I found out tonight.

No idea if its any good but I've promised to use it, and if I get on OK with it, he's going to buy me what ever proper starter kit I want for Xmas.

Is it anything like the regular kits? or would it give me the wrong idea?

it will give a very rough idea a ok way to start just bear in mind that you can bett better flaours and more intnce nic hit and so on so do not be put off by taste or nic satisfaction
