hello! so i'm just after a bit of advice again! i posted a thread a while ago saying that i was still smoking about 1-3 cigarettes a day. well i am now on my 3rd day of no cigarettes (hooraaaaay!) i am still using my e-cig, probably a bit more than i was due to finally quitting normal cigarettes. i've developed a horrible dry cough, sort of like a 'smokers cough'. i've never really suffered from a 'smokers cough' but now i think i am!? is this normal? should i go to my doctor or chemist about it or am i just being a drama queen? any advice muchly appreciated thank you!!!

Well done on 3 days smelling lovely! I coughed a fair bit on e-lites but since upgrading to my gorgeous pink Riva it's not happened (well, apart from that one time I took a massive draw from a finished carto by mistake but that was my own fault! )

Hi Lorna, it will most prob pass on its own what juice are you using, PG/VG or mixed? Also is the same juice you have been using from the start?

Hi lorna, most people find that e-cig vapour is, well it's differant to smoke being a vapour and can be drier and more tickly than ciggarette smoke, hence the need to drink more, wahey, no you do need to keep your fluids topped up though, and if it persist's i'd look at changing the pg/vg ratio. It does take a while to become accustomed to e cigs, same as it does to smoking, well done for stopping though and good luck on your vaping journey, everything's a journey these day's

Hi lorna............. congrats on the 3 days......... if you are still getting a cough when vaping, try a teaspoon of honey in a cup of tea, I found that that helps and as bluefish says........ if it persists........ have a look at the PG/VG an change if necessary
