I'm not at work on Monday so if ECR means E-cig something let me know and I'll be there! Not promising to bring a roast tho...

Impossible to tell Jack. Factor in 30% of your total spend inc p&p just in case. I've found that stuff from USA tends to get caught more than goodies from other countries.

I do buy other stuff from USA and some times they will send as a gift and mark down the value. I have never ask they just offered which was really nice of them.

As long as it doesn't interfere with Sunday roast at the mother-in-law's I'm well up for a mini vapefest! Ha ha I am doing my local (well not really local) car meet at the Halfway house on the A127 to Southend, perhaps one day in the future I can arrange a vapefest,I am going to meet a few people from the ECR on Monday in London (Camden Town) for a drink, but like my car meets if I see an opportunity to get something together I will (damn love Sunday roasts haven't had one for a while ) Halfway house, I know that one

if people got really desperate they could simply learn to steep tobacco leaves in PG/VG for the nicotine.

I would imagine most of us on the forum have moved on from cigalikes and our major requirements now are batteries, atomisers and liquid with nicotine base being the major worry as a smallish package from say Health Cabin of spare heads etc. is unlikely to cause that much of a ripple with customs but my concern is for the current or potential cigalike users as they are more likely to be affected by any proposed ban. These are soley my personal thoughts, I know no more than the next person . . . my thinking is very much along the lines of Brian's as well.
I don't believe ecigs will be banned, we've come too far now and the MHRA would have done that by now, had that been their intention.
That said, I similarly don't believe that any Government Agency spends so much of it's time on an issue without taking some form of action . . . eliquid has always been the weakest link in the chain.
Not helped by people who set themselves up as Eliquid Supplier's with very little experience or regard for safe procedure and labeling.
So, a tax/regulation on nicotine eliquid has a certain inevitability to it, but . . . even if that did happen, vaping would still remain a far healthier option than tobacco and very possibly still less costly.

I 'feel' an all out ban won't happen.

I 'feel' an all out ban won't happen. I'm with you Sandra, Although I do believe it will be more regulated, perhaps put into the same category as NRT which Big Pharma is making too much money on (hence the tears from them). However, If Brussels gets their teeth into it, Thats another matter.... Didn't they ban bent bananas (or try to).

The issue was always going to be e-juice - that is, after all , the "nicotine containing product" - and probably much less likely to be the hardware unless it was combined with the juice in a kit. Regulation - not a ban, as such - will hopefully be "light touch" but a lot depends on the Big Pharma aspirants like Intellicig, who, it seems, look set to corner the market in medicinal e-cigs (a term that makes me shudder, frankly) and would thus be a very attractive proposition for a buy-out by one if the real big pharma companies. And we already know what they have up their sleeves, and it isn't pleasant. These are soley my personal thoughts, I know no more than the next person . . . my thinking is very much along the lines of Brian's as well. So even though www.electroniccigaretteban.org states it is 'illegal to sell and / or market to the public' in OZ. www.ecigs.net.au/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=24&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1states the following Every day we get many enquiries for nicotine e-liquid. Due to Australian legislation, we do NOT supply e-liquid which contains nicotine to Australian customers. However you are permitted to import nicotine for your own personal use and you are permitted to receive by mail up to a 3 months supply - as per the Australian Government Department of Health and Aging. =========================== I also checked a few Canadian sites www.canadavapes.com sells nic! So even though it's banned it seems there are ways round it :-)
