I watch it too - I find that American wannabees have more singing ability than our lot. I was very embarrassed when Leona Lewis got a guest spot on it. However, I couldn't watch it live, and every show takes about half the running time to watch, thanks for FFs and skips  scylla |

lol Jerry, we do - it's on one of our 'Freeview' channels . . . Fantasia was one of my great favs, . . . rather liked Chris Daughtry, Bo Beiss, Jennifer Hudson & Carrie Underwood as well. I loooooooove it Scylla!

Hmmm....can't seem to do a multi-quote. Scylla & Perpy, I hang my head in shame, because although I have heard of American Idol, I have never watched it. Now, I will have to move to a deserted Pacific island, to avoid further humiliation. |

Don't worry, Jerry, I understand, but I can't understand how I've managed to watch it myself, actually - it's not at all me. There's a lot of dross (and I don't mean only the singers) to sweep thru for the odd gem, and then they never really come to anything. If any All-Abouters want to watch together next time I'll join in. scylla |
