I've got a small collection of V3 Vision Ego Rebuildable Clearomisers, bought as part of a starter kit. I've been using them for 3 weeks or so with no problems. Over the last few days, two of my favourites, a tobacco and a butterscotch, have started tasting of plastic.
Is this how you know they have reached the end of their life? I have some replacement coils & wicks, so for the time being I have just cleaned one out, and left it to dry.
How do you know when it's time to change the coil? Is the plastic taste normal?

I don't know about the plastic taste as I haven't come across that but I knew I needed to replace the head when the vapour just stopped. Dave

There is certainly a drop off in flavour as they approach the end of their life, although I've not had a 'plasticy' taste. Given that the heads are only £2.50 each I don't think it's worth wringing the last drop of life from them once they start to go wimpy
