Brought myself a second hand Lavatube I don,t know how old it is but I think it must be one of the originals made, it weighs a ton compared to my eGo Twist. I didn’t like it at first but it's growing on me, to the point I have ditched my Twist. Now then to my problem, I tried putting on a Vivi Nova big and small, but when they are screwed down the draw is to tight no air can get in, I have a adapter that works ok but it doesn’t look right am I missing something?

Hi Jack, That looks like a chrome or stainless steel LT, which means it's one of the newer versions - I've got a mini SS vtube myself, looks very similar. I use a DCT plinth (type B) - www.vapeescape.co.uk/dct-plinths~324 with a vivi and find the draw to be just right, so you could try that? I think I'd find it too airy with an ego connector on top but YMMV... The plinths can also be used with your twist. If you've been using the vivis on your twist without a plinth, you may be used to quite an airy draw, you could try vaping for a while with the tighter draw, you may get used to it. I only use my twists for out and about now - the vtube is my at-home vape... until my provari arrives I find it more satisfying to have that weight in my hand and the button is much more comfortable!

If you use the smaller DCT plinth without the adaptor it will seat into the recess and gives a flush fit with the nova although I use mine with the adaptor as I use visions as well. Dave

Ahoy... new vaper & new user, cos I need more info on this exact thing! Gear as follows: VTube mini SS (which purports to have an eGo connector) eGo Twist 650 Vision ego CE4 clearomiser Vivi Nova 2.5 (w/ 2.4 ohm setup, tell me if that's nuts with a 12mg 100% VG? Vaping that at 3.8V seems ok, but all settings seem "hot" in the VTube) I also have a "Vision plinth" (for Vivi Nova) as sold by ukecigstore.com So, the plinth looks fine on the Twist, and the Nova sits atop that grand. Also the CE4 (no plinth) works jolly too. I can't get anything to work with my VTube tho. I can get a burn if I loosely attach the Nova (as per above), but that's useless. Tighten it and there's literally nowhere for the air to get in. Gah! Also I thought the CE4 would attach to the VTube but it doesn't thread. So, I'm guessing I need an adapter too, so which type, from where, and how does it look? Cos I can't imagine it being as pretty as the Twist/plinth/Nova combo does. Rather hoped that the plinth would sit atop the VTube as well, but alas no ... Throw the newb a bone, anyone? Ta

Jack i have the same LT version and there was no air flow with a vivi nova attached. Using a 510-510 adapter works great.....or as bluefish says an ego-510 would also fix the problem.
