Arrrrgh - just seen mini aerotank - You, santa668, mentionng spinners made me think of it as could do with a couple to go on my twist for when out and about. My Kryptonite is modding everything I buy to improve it, it is the Design Engineer in me. The D" mode button no longer rattles, the springs and sliders are much smoother. Don't get me wrong, there was noting wrong with the charger, just I fiddle with everything and blow any warranty out the window. santa668, remember to put some wax polish on the display screen, it will stop your fingers scratching it easily. Yup Brambles, ordered a cage to go around the screen to electrocute me next time I try hugging it.. Just received my order, very speedy! (And postman asked for signature so +1!) I only had the bronze spinner before, this blue one is beaut - didn't expect it to be metallic blue D2 is very impressive, massive upgrade in information on the i4 I was using. Oh, and I meant to say yesterday @lovevaping - I liked your website's UI - the top menu which shows all contents of each category when you hover over them, and the way the items load on the page as you scroll down is very neat. Sorry to see you close, I always like to see good design.

I really like it! I've gotten used to the menu and can scroll through it as quickly as I need. I like how configurable it is, finally with VW, so I can set and forget, and the boost function is handy when you want some extra oomph The design is as solid as I expect from Provape, sits comfortably in the hand, and that self adjusting centre pin really pays for itself - no possiblity of over tightening, and everything sits flush. It's super quiet, no rattlesnake. I like that I can use any of my 18*** batteries, and it comes with all the extensions, as well as being compatible with all the old extensions. I did have a problem where it would occasionally read 'EMPTY' when I knew the battery was nearly full - removing and reinserting the battery showed it at proper percentage. I emailed keef who said that he hadn't heard that one and advised to report it to Provape. They got back very quickly and suggested stretching the spring, and I haven't had that problem since doing so (I should have remembered this as I had to do the same thing on my v2). t he one thing I don't particularly like is that the screen comes on every time you fire it. I tend to keep my finger over it so that it doesn't glare in my face. I'd like this to be optional, so it can be switched off, but i can see why it does it - shows battery life, resistance, wattage or voltage and if you're using boost or not.I wrote this then played with it a bit and found the option to turn it off, or change how long it stays on! Cool! Apparently not found all of the tricks yet! It's replaced the v1 I've been using since September 2012 as my at home device, and after a week of heavy use, I am still very satisfied. It's definitely a worthy successor, and a much bigger leap in functionality than between v1-v2/2.5. I think if you like a provari, you'll like this! I'll be interested in seeing what top cap accessories they come out with - an integral adaptor for eGo for instance. Definitely happy that I took the gamble and went for this, though if am curious to see if they make any changes in the production model. Nick In 18650 mode

Oh.My.God. Amazingly speedy delivery from VapeGear, I'm holding my new P3 now and it is a thing of beauty! Menu system complicated right at first, but quickly learned how to manipulate it, and the extra information it shows is very handy. Some great little touches, like random LED colour! Love being able to see battery life, resistance and voltage/wattage whenever firing. Threads are as silky smooth as you expect from Provape, and atty sits flush on the adjusting centrepin. Very pleased!

Spotted the P3 on Vapegear this morning, stock was at 16 and couldn't help myself! Stock now at 9 so still some available! I couldn't find any discussion of differences so that's reassuring Mrsmac I've also been considering the dicodes dani, but the self-adjusting centre pin, and provari loyalty swayed me... If I can get rid of some gear, may be able to justify the 14500 dicodes teleganos though! Nick

I've had the old eye hit a couple of times when listening to make sure it's crackle n popping (now I try to make sure the mods next to my ear, not in my face!). Stings like the bejeezus, but no lasting damage (so far!). Hadn't noticed a connection with ambient temperature, but sure does happen more often when i've been cranking up the voltage... Hope you're eye feels better

Yeah, I gave up on my Hypertanks after this happened to two of them in quick succession. Looking at it, it seems a design problem - they're just press fit together, and once they've come apart, they're never the same again. I have downgraded to Protank3, which means more refilling, but doesn't fall apart when I pick it up! Would really like a giant protank version tho....

Pitching in at this late date to say that I'm loving my Hypertank (design 2, bronze), bought from VapeEscape this week. Vapes easily as well as a protank, but feels sturdier, and of course larger Well worth it though, and not so noticeable a weight on an 18650 provari - sorta balances it out! It's managing to last a full days vaping, where the protank would need a refill for me - lasts as long as my battery, so can change them both at the same time convenient... Will definitely be getting more of them as backups, but the en-caging design feels really tough and durable. Definitely recommend for heavy vapers! Nick Edit: Not a big fan of the drop tip that comes with it though - it's an SS chrome stubby cannon style, very nice and looks the business, but I prefer the plain curvy ones tbh, so swapped it with the (now put aside) protank 2.

I found that the centre post in my protank 2 appears to be slightly canted, so when the tank is screwed on, it doesn't seal properly and just leaks. Chucked it back in the drawer, back to original protanks, with which I have had zero problems - I hope they keep selling them! To be honest I don't really see the point in being able to take them apart, it just gives more chance of this sort of issue, and since you can't buy individual parts, there's no way of replacing broken bits without buying a whole new device. I think one of the arguments for it was to make cleaning easier, but it's not exactly hard with the original protank... Overall, thumbs down.
