Hey guys, hows everyone? my names Ram, i am relatively new to vaping, its been about 5 weeks, now living with my riva which was recommended to me by Chrissie I am now looking to upgrade to a variable voltage battery. I am contemplating about buying the new itaste vv battery with the fixed 510 connection. But with all the variety out there im confused on what to go for. I want something that i can carry around with me in my pocket at work and out and about. I have got one recommendation for the lavatube mini but im not 100% sure about it. Could anyone please suggest any devices. I havent got a lot to spend as I dont have a huge pay to afford big mods such as the provari

I have used the itaste and personally it didn't live up to expectation having said that it was the previous version with magnetic adaptors - perhaps others with the newer version may have advice on their experience with it? With budget in mind and your desire to go to VV what about an ego twist(the end piece twists from 3.2 - 4.8v) so you have VV at a relatively low price(16-20gbp roughly)? The lavatube is a good piece of kit but if it's for carrying about it might be a bit chunky....

An ego twist would be my choice, with all the high end mods I have laying around I still pick up the twist when I'm out and about The 900mah battery is the best compromise between vape time and battery length IMO.

Hi Ram . . . welcome to the forum. I'd also suggest an Ego Twist, the 900mAH is quite a nice size and has a better run time than the 650. They're what I use for work. * Crossed posts with Blakey. *

Hi guys, wow I didn't expect so many replies in a short space. I was thinking of the twist but then its the fact the voltage is limited in the sense of the range. The Lt mini seems appealing, but are there any other vendors who stock this? Also there is a high possibility I may go with the twist, but I wanted to know where I can get an ego adaptor to make it look flush with a tank...I'll post a link to what I'm talking about lol

Most vendors have them and describe them as plinths....you should find them in the accessories section of most stores There is an ego batt that runs 3-6v and is also a passthrough....a few vendors stock these

Ego twist including plinths for tanks which I'm considering, more specifically the vivi nova v2 I taste vv with fixed 510 Lava mini The robust 14500vv if it comes in stock anytime soon
If anyone has any suggestions or criticisms or any other perspective please do let me know

Ego Twist is very popular and good value for your money. I taste, I know nothing about. Lava mini, again good value and a decent bit of kit. The robust will be brand new to the market and I don't know of any reviews on it as of yet

There is also the VV Gripper mod but you would need to add batteries and charger after a brief look around this was the best price I found
