Alterntive iMist (or typeA) tank

I may have mentioned that I'm having a bit of an iMist renaissance lately.

The only downer is the iMist tank with its low capacity and horrible
plasticy whistle tip, tight draw and tendency to fill with condensation.

it would be nice to have one that was a bit longer and accepted a
regular 510 drip tip, of which I have many by now.

Has anybody encountered such a thing on their shopping trips?

Apparently, if you pull off the little plastic bit on the end that goes in your mouth it stops condensation.

They look like the ego tanks which I really hated because I used vg so they just never worked.

Similar to them are the CE3/CE4's and vision stardust type clearomisers. I never got on with them either because of me using vg.

I rocked CE2s for months. Top coil, 1.8ml capacity, takes a 510 drip tip. Just need to trim the seal on it and it can take even straight vg no problem and they can go for months if you take care of them. Different to the imist as it's a top coil so the vapour will be hotter than you're used to and likely more of it.

At the moment I'm using the vivi nova tank which is really similar to a CE2 but not quite the same to me. Around a 3ml capacity and much cooler than a CE2 with a tighter draw.

Well, I just want to replace the tank part, but keep the iMist atty.

I've been through CE2/CE4/vision, but I want to have the iMist atty
with a tank that fits it and allows me to fit a 510 drip tip.

Hi dom - I actually quite like the Imist tank, so I've never been motivated to change it I would guess you would have to knock something up yourself as an alternative. I'm sure you could come up with something involving bits of carto condom and plastic tubes

Imists take a Type A Ego drip tip, maybe you could mod one of those to take the Tank part Dom?
