Both are the same size, slightly fatter than a ciggie, more cigar sized and both are 650 mAh Personally i'd go for the cheaper one

Or go for this kit, these are 1100 mah batteries so will last twice as long between charges

No, just different capacities - the higher the mah number the longer a battery will go between charges

Thats the kit I am using, it's great, I highly recommend it, the riva 1100 mah battery is a massive improvement on the little skycig battery. Its a very easy kit to use, and I' finding I only need to recharge that battery every 24 - 36 hours, and getting a consistent vape throughout use

The ego is regulated the riva unregulated. I think this means that the ego gives a constant output and the riva starts off giving a higher output but the power drops off! Please feel free to correct or elaborate on this anyone

Han. it really is hard to say that the ego is better. But yes, if she bought the ego 650, then the Riva & any other 510 battery/cartomiser/clearomiser will be compatible with it

lol han,not a silly question, but it seems to be just a mater of opinion but yes, so long as any bigger battery had a 510 thread then everything in any of those kits will be compatible

Can't comment on the ego, but the riva 1100 is a fantastic bit of kit. Whichever you choose, stock up on cartomisers and juice! A mains powered USB device is handy so you don't need a pc running to be able to charge, although I also use a 12 volt USB adaptor for in-car charging.

the riva IS good, and I started on it (after the crappy cig-a-likes, which I don't even count).
however, with the riva, you can't use anything with a lower resistence than 2 (i think)....i can't remember the reason.....but say your sis wanted to get more throat hit and power and vapour etc from her set-up, with an ego she could use atties with a resistance of 1.8, say, which blows the socks off a bit...couldn't do that with a riva..
mind you, i find 2 or 2.4 on a 3.7 v device is usually enough...
apologies if this sounds too technical...
