well if they are taking pay offs from the big pharmaceutics companies, you have to believe that someone it worried that e-cigs are better to quit with than their products.
At the end of the day, these anti-smoking groups have yet to have smoking outlawed due to proven and suspected health damaging effects, so I don't like their chances of getting a ban on e-cigs, which aren't known to have any health implications.
I don't think there is much for vapers to worry about here. At the end of the day the UK government want the UK to be smoke free by 2032, and to me, e-cigs are the best chance of that becoming reality. Put that with the rumers that B.A.T. are getting involved with skycig/blucig, with the aim of getting their product into the shops, and I can't see there being any chance of an anti-vaping movement making much difference.

At the end of the day, these anti-smoking groups have yet to have smoking outlawed They don't want to do so. Truth be told they want everyone to smoke, then attempt to quit, then start smoking again, then try to quit again... and so it goes on. If smoking was outlawed then there would be no need for their products... at least not once everyone had used their products and quit... afterall, they couldn't keep smoking because it would be illegal so they would have to quit. The only other option would be keep using their products... Without a prescription (which you won't get for a prolonged period of time as the "medication" is stepped down in stages and eventually stopped) you would firstly have to be a millionaire and secondly thick as 2 short planks to continue doing this. of course all this is nonsense anyway, if it was outlawed then most people would (continue to) buy their baccy/fags on the blackmarket and never make any attempt to quit as they would (still)be criminals beyond help.

Believe it - it's true. Most of the anti-ecig groups are funded by big pharma, and they have an agenda.
